I had a few crashes here and there in TWW Beta, but…i left that as a TWW Beta. I had no issues all week in retail till pretty much in the last 24 hours.

EDIT: So everytime it crashes, i notice this on the event viewer
The server Windows.Gaming.GameBar.PresenceServer.Internal.PresenceWriter did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

EDIT2: Ok i figured out what happened. Over the weekend i was playing BG3, and since i am on 14th gen CPU that Gigabyte still hasn’t provided the proper bios updates, i’ve been running it pretty heavy undervolted. What’s odd is CP2077/BG3 has 0 issues with a decent undervolt. However it seems WoW did not like that, so i had to relax the undervolt a bit.

Its odd, but i didn’t think WoW would be that picky, but after i sorted that out on XTU everything is fine.

That error message doesn’t say anything other than “WoW crashed and the module that caused it is unknown.” In other words, can’t use it for troubleshooting.

Check your reliability history, DxDiag, or MSInfo.

i have no idea what you just said there. reliability history?

Open start menu, type “reliability history” or “reliability monitor” depending on the version of Windows.

Ok that is neat, had no idea that was a thing, i was using event viewer before, but yes its all wow.exe, no other issues popping up in there.

I did find online that this is usually something odd like access related.

I haven’t done anything but it is working fine atm. I think this is my first crashes of WoW…since maybe shadowlands or even prior to that.

in the last week my client is just crashing too for no reason and no faults or errors are being reported and doesnt register the crash at all and a few others have been talking about it too. Just locks up and doesnt respond so have to kill it and load back in. Seems to have been since the patch.

according to the reliability history wow has cashed every day since the 29th and hadn’t crashed for months before that.

i updated my post so the final edit should give some insight on how i solved mine.
