The game keeps crashing ONLY in Thaldraszus. All other zones are fine. At first it only happened in the area north of Algeth’ar Academy, but now it’s happening in other areas as well. When you move into a “dead pocket”, everything stops, the audio stops, the game hangs and you get the spinning wheel for a bit, then the game quits. When you log back in, you have a few seconds to move, or hearth before it crashes again. You keep logging in and moving, and crashing, and logging, and moving, and crashing, until you get out of the dead pocket. Now I can’t even fly from Valdrakken to the tunnel to Zaralek Cavern, because there’s a dead pocket on that border. The problem has been happening for a couple of weeks, and seems to be getting worse.

I have tested my internet connection, and it is rock solid at 900+K down and 900+K up.

I have “repaired” the game using the battle net repair option.

I have ran the game with all add-ons turned off.

I have tested my system, and it’s a champ.

I have uninstalled the game, and battlement, and all of the cache files, preference files, application support files. Everything.

I have re-installed battlenet, and re-installed World of Warcraft.

I have updated Battlenet, and World of Warcraft to the latest patches.

I have flown one of the troubled areas in Thandraszus, and watched as the game bombed on itself again.

As I said, the problem is only happening in specific areas of Thaldraszus. Most notably Veiled Ossuary, and now a patch on the edge of Thaldraszus, by the entrance to Zaralek Caverns. I can play for hours and hours in any other zones.
