After more than 100 attempts, 4 days and 30k spent on enchantments, potions, and gems, I’m giving up on this content. It’s really demotivating because I was aiming to get the Legion Bear form.
Any advice? Is it actually doable? Some people say it’s overtuned, but I’d like to think it’s just a challenging encounter and nothing more. Any tips or strategies I could try? I’ve watched tons of guides, but I’m just about ready to give up.
Maybe I’m just bad, and I shouldn’t play anymore. 
it’s been awhile - took me probably 3xyour tries to get it. i was so ashamed i reset the number of tracked failures/attempts.
are you using DBM challange addon (i think that’s what has mage tower?)… its helpful.

which phase is giving you trouble?
Have you tried survival hunter? you need a good dps aoe trinket such as dragonfire bomb dispenser back in DF, but its the easiest to do.
Then go back to druid
I dont know about the tuning nowadays. probably more difficult than DF
Mage tower was a struggle at release for my bear. I didn’t have the legendary Luffa to ease the dps check, around 40ish attempts.

Yes, I use DBM but I’m having trouble in phase 2, Krull sends me back to the lobby with just two hits
Note this is from DF version
Need some luck on kruul especially the positioning
but some things need to be consistent in phase 1:
This will improve the odds for kruul fight
keep drums and consumables for phase 2. phase 1 was doable even without those. need to switch cat form and apply dots on variss, throw star surge every 10s its up
taunt the 4 ghostly adds, then gather them around variss and cleave dps them (this is when 2 good aoe dps trinkets are almost mandatory), use incapacitating roar to interrupt all 4 casts
throw starsurge, moonfire, starfire when away from variss, gap close with cat form when theres no debuff and quickly apply bleed on variss then out of the puddle area
i had @focus interrupt macros… variss and krull cant get any healing casts off. just change focus from varis to krull when he comes.
also macro for moonfiring the eyes.
for krull, you need to pace your cooldowns, barkskin / survival instincts and try to keep ironfur up. dont pop all those at same time.
drums, pots (there were some specific ones for this really good… i cant recall :()
and kite around the room, always be moving.
if krull gets a cast off, just restart…
I finally Beat Mage Tower after +230 Trys
Leaving just one infernal alive was definitely key. Usually, there would be one small and one big one left, and they’d knock me off the platform. I really appreciate it!
