It would not surprise me if some version of WoW is going to port over to consoles and/or mobile - Torghast feels like a console game actually (to me anyway).

Why do you think it was delayed then? They decided to get it out the door. I was basically crucified for saying it would be delayed. Everyone who said I was wrong conveniently disappeared after they were proven wrong.

But if it’s true that’s a signal that Activison/Blizz execs don’t think there’s much left in the PC market for new players. That’s not a real great sign.
They are already making a huge push towards mobile.

Well since the gameplay is 100% console instead of a computer MMORPG, it cant hurt to go console for the HW. I would be more worried about the game design if they switch to console as consoles games are usually a LOT different than PC games.
IF the console just replaced my CPU and still let me use my BT keyboard and RF mouse, I would be happy with a loc cost standard instead of having to build a more expensive PC for the only games I play (WoW and FFXIV - EQ can play on my potato sitting in my closet)
I think I’d enjoy WoW a bit more if I didn’t have to use a keyboard. If I could lounge and play on my couch that’s kinda appealing to me.

First of all you were wrong as it was not delayed until 2021. There was also no civil unrest in Irvine, CA, so you are wrong there as well. Blizzard also previously said they were on track even with Corona, so that is strike 3. So you want to know why it was delayed? Because it wasn’t ready. Just like tons of games get delayed all the time.

Well that’s how I play WoW with my keyboard and mouse…
I sit in my recliner and my PC is on a stand next to it. I have medical reasons I don’t sit in a regular chair anymore 
I tried doing that I just found it was uncomfortable.
I’m talking full horizontal laying down and playing. I sit at work all day I hate sitting and playing games at the end of the day.
Most days I’ll just watch someone play TW:W2 on youtube instead of me playing the game.
They decided to release it earlier last minute. That’s not my sources fault. And I was just relaying what I was told. You must have been one of those people who were wrong about it and are still trying to save face.
We aren’t talking about the delay anymore (which happened btw) try to keep up or you’ll get left behind.
I am already testing out playing WoW with a controller, and it’s surprisingly functional and comfortable.
Yet I do know the drawbacks too which are frankly quite big - even if few (Targeting system is a bit wonky… compared to keyboard+mouse).
I could see it happening, but I also could not - at the same time.
I also know they have said it won’t happen.
I suggest people check out Tijhi or Desmephisto as they’ve done controller-playstyle by now.
First mentioned in a very RP fashion that is quite amusing as he truly lives in to the part and has a blast in a whole new way.

You claimed 2021, which was wrong.
You claimed civil unrest which there was none in Irvine.
You claimed Covid which Blizzard flat out said was not delaying them.
Literally dozens of people were predicting it would be delayed. Yet you are the one claiming you had inside sources despite every prediction on it being wrong.
Blizzard decided for 11th hour reworking of multiple parts of Shadowlands and flat out said they were not happy with the quality.
So keep at it dude.

They would have to ability prune again if they want using a controller to be viable long term. I cant imagine the hand cramps for some class rotations using a console controller.
I doubt it. Hand controllers cant handle every skill, ability, macro, keyboard&mouse can. Sorry, but even if this was true, it wouldnt work well at all.
I did also. And I have a good source that says WoW is not coming to consoles. So who is right then?
Also, wasn’t hard to predict SL would be delayed.

If you’re not going to bother to read something i have posted that explains clearly and concisely of why backing up your claims with evidence is important and how simple it is, then you’re basically admitting to trolling, or you have a very short attention span and can’t be bothered to read something for 5 minutes. Heck, i even explained this before in short before detailing it out and you couldn’t even be bothered to read that then.
What source? You don’t have a source.
Don’t try to imply you’re some sort of news reporter and you have sources, because you aren’t. You’re just a Wow forum goer.
