So next year then?.. I mean so far, all we hear is just updates on Diablo and Overwatch 2. I didn’t hear anything about a console port of WoW.
But i highly doubt they will do a console port of WoW. They have to nail the controller support down as well make sure the game is built around having a controller without pruning the PC side of things.
(Or they can pull The Sims and just make it a different game from the PC version)
If i had to surmise where the console stuff fits in, it would probably be in the Q&A. I wouldn’t imagine Blizzard will put it in the “What’s next” section, probably to not repeat the mistake they did with Diablo Immortal of announcing a mobile game to a PC audience.
Granted it’s a port were talking about, but if i were them and i made that mistake as well, i would be hesitant to put that as my first opener on what i want to do next with the game.
Relying on the continued sale and development of “Gaming Computers.” it a gamble in this topsy-turvy world of de-evolution. There is an issue with gamers who play a game 24/7 and don’t have much of an income , upgrading their computer to something that will actually work for revolutionary games.
If you make a claim like “WoW is coming to next gen consoles”, you have to provide a source to back that claim up. It’s there so the users can verify for themselves. Just saying “oh it’s signed by NDA, just trust me, i don’t need to source it, just believe me” and all that, doesn’t convince anybody.
To give another simple example on why you need to cite things, let’s take one of my recent threads on off-topic where it’s titled… “Has anybody heard of that Kingdom hearts is an EGS exclusive for $230 for the entire collection?”
Now imagine if i didn’t cite any sources in that thread. How would you respond to that? Yes, google exists, but how would you respond to me not citing anything i’ve claimed in that thread?
Mate, you can continue to say it doesn’t, but if you are trying to tell us a claim and profess it to be truth, you need to cite the facts or sources so your claim will be factual.
You’re acting like i’m never happy with the evidence provided no matter what.
And people don’t have to believe you if you don’t give them a reason to believe. You can’t expect people to just listen and believe what you have to say if you don’t give them a reason to believe. Again, refer to my Kingdom hearts example. If i don’t give any sources to my claim there, you would think i would be lying.
Speaking of example, why did you make a “I had pizza for lunch, need proof?” example? What is the point of even making that example? Your example has nothing similar or to do with OP’s post here, it just sounds like to me you purposefully made this example to try to call me a hypocrite if i say no, when in reality, you’re ignoring the context of the two situations here just to make a point.
Nobody, it not rarely anybody actually ask people for proof of something they ate, it’s not really valid thing to ask anyways.
Meanwhile, OP is making a claim that WoW is coming to next gen consoles, that is valid to ask for verification because he didn’t provided any. Instead, he proceeded with excuses and ad-homs.
You won’t be happy with a name and the name would be irrelevant anyway.
No, statements made on the forums mean anything really. So, you don’t need any kind of verification or validation. You can get that validation or verification if WoW ever comes to consoles.
Surprised this thread is going on still. Quite funny, especially the console idea, since only reason FF11 made it to console was by heavily limiting the inputs of the game.
