WoW coming to next gen consoles

Still waiting on the source to your claims here.

You keep on saying “i’m badgering” you. You’re implying that i have the power to make you respond when i have no such power here and you simply choose to respond. I choose to respond as well because i am really curious of these sources to back up to the claims.

If you don’t know, just say you don’t know instead of lying to me

And that’s totally fine with you?.. Wouldn’t you want more people to tell the truth then just lie?..

I mean just because that’s the (shockingly and alarmingly) the norm here, does that make it good or better or totally justifiable? I mean while were on the topic of consoles, theirs a lot of misconceptions about the consoles and PCs that are still being pushed even to this day on Youtube and so on. Does that mean people should just let it go and let the lies go all over the place?

Hey y’all. It’s me. Ya boy Pita-grizzy with another inside scoop on WoW. At around 5:30PM, many of the Blizzard employees will be going home for the day. You heard it here first.

You’re right. I’m done with you.

So you don’t know? alright then.

You may solve your problem by ignoring them. Stop trying to figure it out and simply move on.

If he actually did have a source, please understand that it would be someone within Blizzard and if it was revealed, they are under NDA and they could get fired. So please stop with this demand.

Asking for a source is not how you go about this, my good man. You ask for links to his credibility from previous experiences. He provided one. And he was incorrect. He mentioned no source, his timing was incorrect and his reasoning was also incorrect, as Blizzard clearly stated. He did not give information, he had only asked if anyone else has heard. And never once exclaimed that he has sources saying it was definite. He has nothing more than that.

And everyone knows this. So you can back down now. People have been given the information you and others provided. They can make their own decision from there. :slightly_smiling_face:

My guess is this guy’s source is some supposed industry insider who tweeted this “news”. A tweet that probably has 2 likes and has been seen by 10 people.

Little edit: Misread that one. I apologize.

Fair enough i suppose. :man_shrugging:

I just don’t believe him when he says that because to me, it just sounds like an excuse to avoid telling us that he doesn’t have the sources. Granted it might be a possibility that he has the sources and can’t tell them, but i honestly doubt he knows from the inside of blizzard to get that big of a source from them, given the post history and this thread here. Especially considering how cloak and dagger video game journalism has been.

And by no means i’m considering myself to be the better one here, because i’m no journalist any by stretch of the imagination. (and considering the video game journalism, i don’t consider that as a bad thing to me.) I just understand that if there are claims that needed evidence to support it or citations, then it needs those aforementioned evidence or citations.

I agree. Infact, i’l gladly chastise myself for this comment here.

I have been fairly snippy with this comment, thought at the time it was suspect (as it should) to make a claim and not support it with source. And i will gladly cop to that mistake with this first comment here. That was completely unwarranted, i do agree.

I mean fair enough. I just don’t think we should forget to call out people on their lies and shouldn’t forget the lies they did spew because once you say something on the internet, it’s there forever. Or be okay with people making the claims without evidence acting like this whenever people just don’t believe their claims.

I just think it’s important to keep that and this quote in mind here…

“Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

We did not forget. We pointed out his inaccuracies from the past, all there for everyone to see. The job is done and, as I said, we have given everyone here the best information we can so that they may make the decision themselves.

I hope you have a very good day!

Fair enough.

I unironically want this.

I’m sorry, where is the “lie”?

I would also like to know how they could even come up with a way to get and install addons. I mean, just that would be a huge undertaking.

Please just stop. You claimed you were ignoring him twice now and still you continue to egg him on. Pot meet kettle.

I’ve been trying but he’s attempting character assassination and I dont have to take that from him.

No, you have not been trying. Had you done so, you would not be harassing him in return. Discontinue this. It is borderline insanity now. You both need to walk away.

And who exactly are you? Buzz off.

They already said the changes they made were to assist players with disabilities and that it had nothing to do with making wow into a console game. Months ago.

Well i would figure mods have to be approved and have the addon be specifically made with the console in mind, considering the PC and consoles uses different architectures to execute certain things and such.

“So what we’re doing,” John Hight told me, "is enabling a lot of the things required for our add-on community to build add-ons for controller support. And it isn’t just controllers: we’re looking at a number of different devices. But our focus was not to try and make WoW feel like a console game but rather for players with disabilities to have more accessible input devices.“
