Hi there, i have a triple monitor set up which has been working fine since launch. But in the last 3 days when i swap the game to another monitor, the whole game freezes and complete bricks my computer. Can’t even bring up the ctrl+alt+del task manager.
Taken a few steps to try stop this such as the following:
- Removed all addons/wtf files
-Updated gpu drivers - Deleted the game and did a fresh install on another drive
- Swapped monitor cables around
- Full reformat of drives and fresh windows install/new drivers
It is still happening and I don’t know what to do. I have 2 accounts so when I launch the game on both accounts they load on the one monitor, so when i go to swap one of the clients that’s when it happens.
The game has been fine for how long and now randomly it is an issue.
Not sure if it happens on the retail client so I’ll give it a go.
Edit Tried doing this with 2 monitors, game opens up on my 1080p monitor and when I go to swap it to my 1440p monitor, it is now instantly bricking making the game completely unplayable…
System specs:
9900k
Nvidia 1080ti
32gb 3200mhz ram
2x 512gb nvme SSDs
Monitor 1: 3440x1440 @ 100hz
Monitor 2: 1980x1080 @ 240hz
Monitor 3: 1980x1080 @ 60hz
