tired of dying to mages and rogues in one cs or stun locked to death. Games trash ill cancel membership and wait till retail expansion.They should put in disclaimer when buying the game if you don’t play a op spec/class you will be targeted and farmed over and over again in bgs.

From TBC onwards pvp in wow is meh.
Basically have to play Era or a different game if you are a pvp enjoyer

People kept hyping up cata pvp and thus far its just sitting in freezes and fears. I still believe that frost armor proc chance to freeze in place is too high, its supposed to be like, 15%? Happens every single auto attack.
With full gear you survive, with partners peeling you survive, with a brain and common sense you survive.
The fact youre crying about being killed in stunlock like its something new, or the fact you don’t have the stats from full epic to survive yet should make it obvious you’re prematurely judging something you have no understanding of.
Cata pvp, especially s9 3v3, is the peak balance the game has EVER had. There are more comps being run than any other classic xpac. Every single class in the game has a strong viable comp that they can run. You’re just extremely ignorant on why what’s happening to you is happening. Which is a fair point to make for people trying cata for the first time tbh.
Lotta people seem to have forgotten how Cata PvP was. As a warrior who has ruthless elite from original Cata, it’s as awful as I remember it. No reason to play this over retail arena.
The problem is the OP comps/specs are just miles ahead of everything else. Rogues, ferals, and mages are just playing in a league of their own.
You forgot about ferals can’t forget ferals and their brokenness.

Just look at the comps that are playing in the cata tourney today. That represents about 95%+ the comps that people are queueing on ladder especially as you go higher in mmr.
Retail has 36 specs or whatever, nearly every single comp is glad viable and dozens are r1 viable.
Name a class that doesnt have a viable glad comp?
RLS, MLS, RMP, FMP, Thug, PHDK, Shatterplay, shadowplay, Cupid, Vanguards, Jungle, WLD, LSD2.0, Shadowcleave, KFC, Kittycleave, FLS, and thats just off the top of my head.
Are you wanting specs like fury to have a comp or something? What else are you even talking about? Everyone has a very strong comp.
The tournament is a great example of how theres a ton of comps, compare EU tourny bracket to the NA one lmao

Frostbite proc isnt even in the game anymore. It was removed in cata.
Well what is it that freezes me 100% of the time i make contact with a mage? I mean every single tiny little auto attack and i’m frozen. Its endless.

They can also cold snap and refresh the cd of nova & CoC.
There is nothing going on with procs while you attack. Theyre using 1 of these 3 abilities. The RNG root stuff is no longer in the game.

Rogues and mages are way more unbalanced in era/sod than in cata lol, what you smoking? Just imagine all the cc us rogues have and then remove the DR.
The pvp overall is one of the better things about cata.
Rogues and mages are totally fine in Era. They are really good but plenty of classes can deal with them.
You don’t see pvp full of rogues / mages in era, there are maybe 1 or 2 of each in a WSG and a wide array of all other classes and specs.
how much resilience do you have? youre up against top dps burst classes. youre going to need to find a clever way to avoid their dmg
