There was something posted in the launcher of TBC Classic then removed. Just hoping to be part of the beta too.
I wish there was some more discussion on the propsed Eye of the Dead change.
I get that consuming charges on Chain Heal and Prayer of Healing sucks, but fixing that AND nerfing the bonus that hots get is over balancing in the opposite direction. If you fix the interaction with CH & POH, please don’t proceed with the hots nerf. Likewise, if you do change the hots interaction, don’t boost the CH & POH interaction.
As it is, shaman and priests get huge advantage over druids by getting to use Scarab Brooch to maximize it’s effectiveness, I don’t think it’s too much to ask that druids have access to 1 OP trinket to carry forward into TBC. It’s not balanced to let shaman and priests get to abuse both.
Drop the patch! Drop the patch! Drop the patch! . . .
Yes better late than never
When is this patch gonna drop? It’s been forever in ptr.
have to agree
Looks like ANOTHER week without it according to maintenance announce. Really guys? Come on.
Literally I don’t like how its been a month and a half for a PTR. This is ridiculous and practically seems like a false promise.
nice, very nicee
Retail is getting a content patch tomorrow, we can’t get minor tuning? Come on man!
You’re making me nervous that these changes will only be included with the prepatch at this point. If we just had a month and a half long PTR of a version of the game that will never make it to live servers I’m going to be very very upset.
In the words of Tyler1, FIX THE GAME! Then we can enjoy prepatch content when it’s ready.
Please release before prepatch
How much longer do we have to wait for this to go live?
This timestamp here (22:30) makes it seem like this patch is never going to go live on Classic.

MrGM: Yeah, so with uhhh was it patch 1.13.7 I think is the one on the PTR, the one with spell batching changes, so with the spell batching changes obviously that is some changes right, and a lot of people are very happy about it. I’ve seen across the board it seems pretty well received. So obviously you’re making changes to Burning Crusade, would you consider changes to Classic in the future to make it a better experience for players?
Brian Birmingham: Potentially. Like you mentioned, like spell batching is one of the kinds of things that we might consider.
Might consider? Could we please get some clarification here? If the developers are not planning on having the spell batching reduction happen before the pre-patch, it would be fantastic for them to take thirty seconds out of their busy schedules to come here and tell us. Did the intention change from this going live on Classic to just being a test for TBC?
What is the point of 1.13.7 if you’re never going to release it
I think they are soon. No ptr available
The wording is fine.
“like spell batching is one of the kinds of things that we might consider.”
In regards to “changes to Classic in the future to make it a better experience for players”, they are talking about changes like spell batching, which they’d consider.
Meaning they’ve accepted spell batching, and are able to consider similar changes like that in the future.
Thank you for removing rank twisting.
Now can you just ditch this whole .5s overlap on seals and just put a .5s delay on SoC hits?
That’ll be a lot closer to how seal twisting actually worked than this, which allows previously impossible twists.
Even in classic this is a large change to twisting, as it ruins the one twist that did work (SotC with SoC that didn’t still have the damage penalty due to turning off the SotC buff before the SoC hit) and replaces it with a stronger option that didn’t used to work (SoR / SoC).
sounds like an unhealthy unfun game play. Why do you advocate such a thing.
How about we remove the seal twisting, and buff our damage to compensate.
Oh, I would much rather seal twisting die.
But blizzard has decided they want to keep it because it was around back then.
I’m just hoping that they ditch this form of it. It doesn’t impact classic much now that rank twisting is dead, but in TBC it basically doubles both the Mana and global cooldown efficiency of SoC/SoB twisting to do it every swing, which basically makes always seal twist way easier and stronger than it ever was.
