Original Vanilla guy here, sub Apr 2005 currently don’t play retail, (un-subbed in 08’) but subbed the past couple months to check-out Classic again & test. Hoping more of you get in that have 04/05 accounts. I have no desire for retail & hope Blizzard gives us the option to sub to Classic preference.

For reals. We are used to having our characters wiped after invested progression, and rolling fresh every few months. The private server community is the best for testing and not getting burned out.
It was announced that you must be currently subbed to WoW just for the chance to get a beta invite. I was willing to Resub again simply for THAT chance and so I did it, But saying NOW literally 1-2 weeks in that you guys have reached the “limit” needed for testing & that invites will be slowing down when that was never even mentioned is such a bummer. Also the age of the accounts are being considered? Like I feel all of that should have been said from the get go instead of getting many peoples hopes up. I could care less about BFA, I resubbed simply for that chance thinking it would be chosen at random which was never made clear… Many others including myself want the full experience and that includes beta testing & that whole level 5 cap has to be some kind of joke… I get its a stress test but It could have been pushed a bit further, especially when many are resubbing strictly for classic. I’m just upset that all of this wasn’t made clear before my resub…

I’ve sub’d and played for 15 years and little does that do to help get me into the beta let alone the PTR test realms. GG blizz, thanks for f**king over the people who have been with you the longest and lying about every word you say.

Also the people who are stuck at 30 in the beta who will eventually just stop playing or reroll toons till they get bored,Unless blizzard ups the level cap in the beta (which seems unlikely via blue post) then that’d just be salt in the wound.

Leads me to believe they are going to do a thing in the last phase of testing where they let a ton of people in.
I guarantee that once the hype dies (maybe another week), they will up the cap to 40. Then we’ll get a week or two of the “new meta” from the streamers. Things will die down. Boom, raise it to 50. Two more weeks. Then finally 60. They are gonna milk this for a few months.

That I think is a big part of the “problem” people are seeing on the streams. Most players aren’t rushing to 30, and many of them are working on multiple characters. So once you get past level 15 or so, the population thins out a lot.
