Here’s what I’m getting at, did the streamer influence which bosses they spawned? Possibly, I won’t deny that. All I was saying is they did this sort of thing for stress tests back before streaming was even a thing. They spawned bosses in cities and such or right in the middle of a very large gathering of players.

For those having issues a full reinstall of the Battlenet app fixed my issue on not being able to see the download available.

Just for those worried about not getting RPPvP realms;
It may just be a holdover from the original launcher, but when you’re in the realm selection screen for the present test, if you hover over the realm type with your mouse, it lists FOUR realm types… including RPPvP.
Some hope, maybe?
Or this. And they haven’t made their mind up yet.

I don’t have an active account, and I somehow got invited.
You don’t need an active game account to install the client or display the realm list. There are no invites, this is the client we’ll use in August.
You won’t be able to create a character and log in without one.
So that update I received this morning, allowing me to install Classic wasn’t for the stress test?
They made the Live client available to everyone for install, whether you have an active account or not.
We will also be using the live client for the Stress Test, but:
Separate “Installing WoW Classic” and “Ability to create a character in the stress test”, in your mind. One requires a Battle Net account, the other requires an active game account.
Who else is ready for 2 days of classic!!!
