getting character creation again but not into the game. characters are failing to create.

Didn’t even get to make a toon. Just locked/offline server, connection error messages and disconnects trying to get the realm list. Turns out one server just won’t cut it Blizz who would have thought. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

who else checked their launcher, got really excited thinking they got in the beta, tried to log in, saw no servers but a stress test server they couldn’t go into, googled it, found this, and then had their spirits torn to shreads…

Just got into the character screen again.

Much like a lot of folks replying, I had lots of no realms found, a few realm lists with the test realm shown but offline, A lot of disconnects, and a couple of character creations time out.

Install now and get ready to rush our test realm as soon as it opens at 4:00pm PDT Wednesday, May 22, until 6:00pm PDT . Play up to level 5 and help us make sure we can provide the best experience possible when World of Warcraft Classic launches August 27, 2019.

The World of Warcraft Classic Closed Beta realms will be down for the duration of the test. Once the stress test period is over, you’ll be able to continue playing on the stress test realm (up to level 5) until Thursday, May 23.

You cited a source that doesn’t support your statement. Who could have possibly foreseen that. It’s almost like over-aggressive people who attack others are more inherently likely to just bs and lie as opposed to actually be knowledgeable or noteworthy. Big yikes.

Interestingly enough I am now able to log in to character creation, which is timing out on me BUT this is the furthest I’ve been all day.

Server came back up, sitting at character creation screen again. Cannot get into the actual game yet.

I took a glance at the Twitch page for WoW, and didnt see anyone in the Classic servers. some posts here said that some streamers made it in, I am curious which streamers?

(other than asmongold, I dont like his content). I’d like to look at the vods of these other streamers.

Look people, it is a stress test. We are stressing their system. Does it suck to not get in , sure. But WE ARE STRESSING THEIR SYSTEM. Be proud that the classic community is so big that they cant handle it. Do not get angry, do not be a child. We are proving to them that we DO WANT THIS, that it is NOT nostalgia.

Hello, i manage to get in character creator but i was stuck in there , it took 20 minutes of disconnect queue to enter in character creation and after this i was stuck there until server went offline, i couldnt enter in game, the error was creation character timed out.

tried to log in multiple times, just told me no realms online… wish I could of helped test :frowning:

“a lot of people” or “all the people”?

Were people able to login? You said streamers logged in, so yes, some people logged all the way in.

And what about “zones, though.”? Doesn’t that indicate that they really don’t expect some people to make it all the way into the game?

And last, but not least, “as we test the servers” - that last word…it’s plural. More than 1. Hmm… The plot thickens!
