An official statement just fell, the client will be the same, but people that aren’t on the beta won’t be able to connect to the beta realms - only to stress test.
So, no characters will carry over.

Stress tests are often less restrictive than closed-beta testing, so it’s not unreasonable to hope they let a few non-subs in for the short stress test.
From how invites have been going out, I’m assuming that they’ll keep slowly rolling out full invites, probably until July which is when Beta ends. But I’m also just speculating from what I’ve seen.

Doubtful. With it being available for such a small window, I’d wager only subbed players will get an invite.
They have a monopoly on their own game? That’s like saying WalMart has a monopoly on WalMart stores.

Which is the difference between PvP and PvE servers. Unless you were attempting to be captain obvious.
They could invite maybe a total of 7500-9000 players… or more likely twice that to ensure they get at least that many to log on during the 2 hour test.
They said each layer would include an entire continent… and each layer would have “original vanilla server caps”… if that is so, then each layer cap is around 1250-1500 people as 2 layers represent a server and cap was 2500-3000 players.
This means they will need at least 7500-9000 players log in to watch it spawn a new pair of layers at 5000-6000 and another at 7500-9000. If they want more they can just do a server reset… and have everyone log in again.
Even if they invite a total of 20,000 players… that is but a minuscule amount compared to those opted in…

You do know that you don’t have to participate right?
For the level 5 Hogger raids, please keep in mind that you can’t get quest credit in a raid group. The quest IS obtainable at level 5 so have everyone form 5-man groups instead of a raid group and just rotate the kills so everyone gets the rewards.
