That sounds like a personal problem. Taking time off of work to play a video game for two hours doesn’t come across as being a very intelligent thing to do.
Yes, this is a stress test and nothing about tonight has surprised me.
But having the streamers online was definitely a dumb move as it was taken as an insult by many who did not understand what they were signing up for.

Ugh have been trying to log in since 5 mins after testing started and not once have I been successful, I’m glad to know I’m not the only one that’s apparently testing the login screen. A couple times I got to realm list but it showed the only realm listed to be offline, didn’t show a stress test realm. I got to character creation then got the message timed out . then server has been offline since

If the point was not to get on, what was the point of the email saying you could only play to level 5, and to take screen shots, stream and record that all of that is welcome. I suspect something else went sideways here.

I’m just hoping this helps them get things hammered out for release. I’d rather put up with this kind of thing now than then. Although I am hoping just for a little time in game. Really hate waiting for this to release. Started in Dec 04 and have been hooked since. Can’t wait to revisit the OG WOW

Couldn’t get pass the server screen, but didn’t bother me because I expected that a lot of people wouldn’t be able to because it’s a stress test.
Also the people getting mad about not getting in are hilarious reads. Please keep them up.

i understand its a test but i think we would all feel better if blizz just let us know if all these failed login attempts are giving them the data they need or if we are just wasting our time…

Last time I played WoW was june of 2015. Only came back for classic as I am sure many others have. I just hope this test helped, and I wish they would say something.
The errors ~are~ changing now which indicates to me work being done on the back end. I work in IT. i can sit here for the next 6 hours and log in over and over again if I need to. I got to Char creation twice but never in-game.
