I keep getting disconnected. I wait in the queue, get to the server select screen, then get put back to login screen.
Pretty realistic, this is just like the first couple months were in vanilla

15 minutes of disconnecting, finally get to create character, log in, accept first quest, disconnected from server, wait at log in screen for another 5 min and disconnected again…
Character creation timed out. D/c.
D/c # 4 1929 in queue. I’m enjoying us breaking this. It means blizz is getting good data on what not to do
client keeps saying no servers can be found, and dc’s me. this is fun

For those of you complaining about long queues and getting disconnected, this is exactly why they do Stress Tests. To ensure that at launch, they don’t have these problems.
Why are they still having all these issues years after the original launch? Because it’s a new algorithm design and new programming code. They need to work out the kinks with today’s expected electronic and technical standards.
Since you complain, it may seem you know better than Blizzard’s Developmental and Technical team. Why don’t you offer your expertise and help them solve these issues?
We, as a community, are here to help our favorite game get better and faster. Complaints give absolutely no insight on how to facilitate the transitions.
You may have a sense of self satisfaction by airing your grievances, but rest assured, no one from the Blizzard team listens to you.
This is not a preview, it is a beta/stress test. Be productive and simply report your findings with sarcastic remarks.

Ah, the joys of stress testing. As tedious as it may be, its all part of the process to test the servers. Keep the faith and keep trying to get in.
Server is now down.
It really is a stress test as I cannot log in past the server screen for 20 min now

So far been thur the position queue 5 times and and click on the server to be instantly disconnected. Will keep trying maybe the character creation won’t be a lie haha.
Total dc count: 6
I’ve gotten to the character creation screen about three times. Each time shortly after I click “Accept” I get “Character creation timed out.” get DC’d, log into my account, back into the queue. I too have not seen the game world yet.

Tried to log in like 10 times… now says locked… We must be stressing the living hell out of this test.

We probably should have expected all of this. They’re testing new server balancing technology. Every disconnect and restart is them hotfixing something to try to learn from their attempts. The point of a stress test is to test to the point of failure, the back end people are then gathering information and tweaking things to extend that point of failure further and further out.
SO don’t stop pushing that login button, it does help the testing.
