WoW Classic Stress Test 1

They want us to go through the hassle of downloading the client and showing up on time to do free testing for them and then a few hrs later we get booted out, max level 5… whilst others have been leveling all the way up to what, 40 now, exploring and playing the game to its fullest.

If by a “a few hours later” you mean the next day, 24 hours after the focus window ended.

Compared to the thousands of hours the beta testers get to keep playing… yes i can call that a few hours.

If you’ve only been selected for the stress test and not the beta, is there any hope to get into the beta during its duration, or will you just have to wait till its out?

They were still inviting people on Monday night, and I’d expect the number of players will continue to grow. I imagine the eventual goal is to try to grow the realm population until the test realms are each supporting multiple layers each.

Although it looks like the PvP test server may be layering well in advance of its PvE counterpart. Can’t imagine what might be going on there.

Got an invite to the stress test from noreply@em.blizzard.com but I don’t see the dropdown in battle.net. any idea why I can’t?

it showed up on my launcher about 1/2 hour ago then I checked my email and the invite was there

Woohoo checked my email and I received an invite to the stress test! It might only be for two hours but I am happy to help!!

well after I finished downloading I launched stared at the offline stress test server then went and launched the cinematics and dam got to say they did a beautiful job on those graphics they still stand up today as awesome graphics.

I would renew on the 13th, as that is the day you can login to classic and reserve 3 names. If you want to reserve any important names, it’s definitely worth subbing one week in advance

Will those of us who got flagged for the stress test have a better chance of getting into the beta?
