I entered in wow retail to see the changes and joined some BGs and I found out that there is no balance in PVP again. I got one shot by a sub rogue with gear 450 or with scaled version 105 with 16500 health. The rogue killed me in 2 seconds and I wonder what kind of game Shadowlands will be if this is called balance. In WOW Classic rogues cant kill me in 2 seconds even if they have epic gear they still fight for the kill. I am not saying that rogues are not OP in wow classic but at least they don’t kill you in 2 seconds.
WOW Classic has many problems with balance too like the best PVP classes are mages, rogues and hunters… you can go in youtube and look videos there you will see people using those classes. I have a paladin not the best class for pvp but at least I am happy I don’t get one shot. Its impossible to kill priests or even locks.
Raid Gear kills PVP gear.
Again I will say that the Raid gear kills the PVP gear and this happens in WOW Classic and in WOW Retail as well. For example in WOW Classic the best gear before Raid gear was the Rank 14 gear Marshal when AQ and Nax killed that gear and there is no respective gear in PVP Blizzard did not updated the gear in PVP vendors. The same problem happens to WOW Retail Blizzard gives more importance to the Raid Gear and forgets that there are people who don’t do raids and gear up via PVP. In WOW Classic there is no PVP rating or arenas its just BGs while in WOW Retail you need to do arenas to have a good rating to get some PVP Gear. So many problems in WOW retail that they have to fix. Also in WOW Classic you get a badge even if you lose in WOW Retail you get nothing if you lose e.g some conquest points. So it would be nice to have conquest points on people who lose a BG instead of getting nothing. The problem with WOW Retail is that Horde wins all BGs in WOW Classic Horde wins all Alterac Valley BGs because there is a BUG that Blizzard does not want to fix in WOW CLASSIC they just don’t care for WOW Classic they care for WOW Retail only. Now they will destroy more the WOW Classic with the Naxramas Raid and they will kill the PVP Gear for good so people will try to do Raids all time instead of doing BGs to gear up.
So there you have it Raid Gear destroys PVP gear in WOW Classic and in WOW Retail because they do not update the PVP gear to balance the Raid gear that is why PVP does not exists in WOW Retail.
protip: If you have to make a point to go tell people how much better something is rather than just spending your time doing that something… you are probably trying to convince yourself of something.
Yeah, I am happy they enjoy it, but anytime anyone (and it doesn’t even matter the topic) that someone is starts screeching about how x is better than y I am like “who ya trying to convince, bro? Me or yourself?”
I once made the mistake of engaging in conversation with several classic posters who claimed retail is trash with their provoking threads.
The answers they gave to my question of “Why you do this” was: “Back then people said No when we asked for classic. We’re here to rub it in their faces”.
You know what amuses me the most about that attitude? Before we got Classic people would go on and on (and on and on and on) about how great the “classic community”. Really? Seems more like a bunch of petulant children if they are going to do that.
They’re the same bunch of players who refused to use the chatbox in Retail and only use it in Classic because the game doesn’t reward them if they don’t use it.
So much for their glorified “Socializing” and dumb stuff they made up.
It only highlights the selfishness of people who socialize in classic out of necessity and then ignore it altogether when the game tells them they have a choice
