High Inquisitor Fairbanks is found in SM Cath. Via fandom

Fairbanks was Highlord Mograine’s most trusted advisor, and was present during the meeting in Southshore that led to the creation of the Ashbringer.

Fairbanks was tricked and led along with the Highlord by Mograine’s son Renault to Stratholme where legions of the Scourge awaited them. Fairbanks was the first to fall, but did not die - he was trapped and hidden under the corpses of the undead. He bore silent witness to Renault’s betrayal of his father, hearing Mograine’s anguished cries as Ashbringer was plunged through his heart and fouling the blade. Kel’Thuzad later resurrected Mograine as a Death Knight.

Making his way back to the Scarlet Monastery, Fairbanks told the tale of betrayal to anyone who would listen. Those who believed him broke away from the Crusade to found the Argent Dawn. Fairbanks was subsequently murdered by the remaining crusaders for his blasphemy as well as possibly showing symptoms of the plague. His body was discarded in a secret chamber in the Scarlet Cathedral.

Are all Pacific servers in LA?

We don’t know for certain that Pacific time zone realms are located on servers physically on the west coast. Seems likely, but we don’t know. If they are on the west coast, they are in the Blizzard LA data center

Yeah that starts tomorrow. I had to look up a table to convert the posted hour servers open because they decided to post the time format in the official announcement in Zulu time. I’ve been gone from the game since Apr so idk when they changed their time format but to me it was yet another one of those “changing for sake of change” decisions. At any rate for those who don’t know, the servers go live at 4pm CST

Except that most of us are on daylight time now. It will be 3:00 PM PDT, 4:00 PM MDT, 5:00 PM CDT and 6:00 PM EDT.

I’m sure the servers today compared to 2004 will be able to handle the player load. The equipment today is far better. The issue is going to be starting area saturation. Hope Blizz cranks up the mob refresh rates.

Oceanic is included but not Korea? There are players in Asia that ping terrible to Australia, you know. Japan, Korea, etc.

Only 1 pvp server for OCE? So those who wish to do world pvp are fully restricted to one race unless they also go onto a US realm. Lovely.

I think if there are so many low pop servers that are nearly empty, they could maybe convert some of them to Classic if the need arises. (which I am sure it will)

As far as the ping goes, Classic will not be as hard on your machine as retail, so maybe not a lot of lag anyway. (crossing fingers here)

Now I am sitting here trying to decide what I am going to roll first!

I am much more interested in the physical location of the server than the time zone it used. Can we assume the PT servers will be located in the Los Angeles datacenter?
