So Why is that we absolutly have to Grind on top of eachother everytime this game is released. The point and the reason that everyone plays this game is to feel like they are a hero in this world. how can you feel like a hero when you are constantly fighting someone else to finish a quest. how can you feel like a hero when all the mobs are dead and you didnt kill a single one. I don’t get how anyone can be comfortable or is even having fun playing WoW classic when you can’t even go at a decent pace. We need more servers bottom line. The layers are over loaded. enough is enough. Blizzard please make more servers. make AH cross realm if thats what you are all worried about but please stop this madness.
Right click the other players > invite. Problem solved
If I wanted to feel like the chosen one I’d play retail
That is not at all the Vanilla experience. You’re a runt that goes on fetch quests. You want to be a Hero, I think Retail is right up your alley.
As far as layering, quest competition, etc…I have to grudgingly admit Blizz is doing a pretty good job on these Fresh servers. It’s much better than SoD. I see a lot of players. The balance between grouping and not being able to get anything done feels about right.
Another person who thinks they solved the problem, no. the issue here isnt that I dont like seeing others or playing with other people. i love that aspect of the game, i just want to see less people so I can actually finish my quests without having to wait in line. Hogger was a nightmare. 40 people trying to kill one mob and no one would group up. it felt like no one was leaving after hogger would die. it sucks, its a joke, we need more servers!
You can just wait a few weeks to level up if that’s your only problem.
You’ve never experienced being on a dead realm because there was too many servers for the populations housed on them.
Less servers = better experience, centralized economy and better pugging and raiding experiences. Having more then 1 server was only ever because of a technical limitation which is no longer a problem, see 1 server of each type.
but why should anyone have to wait when they can just make another server to accommodate the “expected high numbers”. we all have seen this before and everytime they never never ever just make more servers to fix the issue. 20 years of grinding on top of other people
Because in like a month all of those will be medium. The hype will die down, the regulars will stay while bandwagoners will get off. If you released a bunch of new servers then they’d all spread out across the servers and then instead of being medium towards the end, it’ll be low population everywhere.
Then condense them accordingly. why not start big and then work your way down, not make everyone have a miserable time in the begining and then hope things get better when you can just make it awesome to begin with .
So what good does this do? Blizzard opens up a server and you end up with the same amount of people just with less layers as there isn’t enough people to make as many layers as we currently have deployed. Unless Blizzard opens multiple servers, not just one, you aren’t getting any different of an experience than what layers provide. They literally make it servers within servers. Last thing we need is a split player base on dead realms.
Why have to condense them later when you can just let everyone house themselves in 1 place. Why crunch the servers later when you can just let the server be poppin for a bit.
I’m trying to get onto nightslayer to play horde rn and I can’t. I have every reason to want another fresh anniversary pvp server but I know its worse for the overall health of the game.
I grouped with 3 guildies and took down Hogger almost immediately. One other group was doing him. He respawned within seconds. The dynamic respawns are off the charts. And it seems like for named mobs they spawn even faster.
ok can we get more layers then, how do we stop the madness at the begining of every release, why is it that they can’t figure this problem out. because you all are ok with being squished together. are you actually having fun waiting for your turn to tag the mob you need for a quest?
Yes, some of us enjoy seeing other players. It’s why I play an mmo.
I understand some players have been conditioned from years of playing Retail that you shouldn’t have to wait a second or two ever, but you should probably get over that. Blizz has hit a good balance on these servers. I actually wouldn’t mind fewer layers.
Some people enjoy this fresh start madness and live for it.
The only solution that makes everyone happy is what’s currently happening. If you just can’t stand fighting for mobs, just wait a bit before leveling.
I’ve been grouping with people for quests and chain running dungeons. And when questing in one zone isn’t possible I do the craziest thing, I move to one of the other 3+ zones in that level range… I know I know, it’s crazy, but you too don’t have to quest in just the human zone like everyone else and their mother.
if your suggestion is for me to quest in another zone thats definitly not the answer. see you all are making suggestion for me to change my play style, why would i want to change my play style when all I want is to be able to play in the zone of my choice without being trampled on all day. I am pretty sure the reason that we are down to one server is because people who absolutly loved classic remember what happened in 2019. we grinded on top of eachother, we lagged out, we couldnt breathe and we had bots and blizzard promoted boosters . we lost a large part of the community because who in there right mind wants to go through this hell again?
Do you want to play the game or not? Blizzard gave you options, because you refuse to exercise your freedom of options isn’t their problem. It’s a you problem.
I dont want to share exp sir. Why should i
its really not a me problem. so many people play on private servers because of this reason, why can’t blizzard just fix the problem and stop being ignorant
