Oh well 3½ months it is.

Have you ever opted into their beta programs? You don’t need active subs for those or to participate in them. You just have to opt in.

I have been in many betas. They have never had the disclaimer of, as seen above and in the post:

Go to your account management and to the beta section and there is a new option that is WoW Classic Beta. Check the box. My sub is inactive and once preferences were updated it said “Update successful.”

It specifically states in the announcement that having a sub is apart of the criteria to be chosen.
