Normally I don’t care about gaming politics cause of it’s implications are marginal on my personal life.
To clear a few things up this BUG was known.
It also was. Left in intentionally(I reluctantly use that word) so that big guilds by the looks of it unfamiliar with wow would have a way to stay on Pace with known pserver guilds who know everything about speed leveling and gear for gated progression of raid release.
This was IMO a way to get METHOD world first as it’s blizz golden boy. Thank you APES for stomping that and having it shoved down our throats for weeks.
Also to further provide proof of blizzard cooperating with big guilds and streamer to abuse this to let them get ahead of the curve I provide said evidence.
On Saturday night on a streamers channel rhymes with Mary Poppins they where farming dung as 10m raid the emphasis was getting to 60 but by the sounds of it they where saying things like "we have to do it by Monday " and we have to stay up and do it before Monday.
Why well one can only reason that they where tipped off about said hotfix before the community and where trying to reach 60 before ez mode leveling was fixed.
This by no means is a smoking gun but it is very likely and the silence on action if any that will be taken is more proof they allowed this as a method of advancing select player base. In the end blizzard wants something to advertise and retail is not that. So the race to first anything is advertising, they one can reason allowed it but now that race is over for this phase it’s hotfixed.

This was definitely left in intentionally or perhaps even set that way to help current retail “top” guilds to compete. It was widely known during beta that there was no XP hit to raiding lower lvl dungeons - even the forums here had people talking about it in “coded” talk, but Blizzard has a dev team who knew what was going on…The people who are levels 50+ definitely abused it. I would say that those players are the casual ones as well since they just wanted to hit 60 as easy as possible and not have to think at all, just like how retail is. Q up and afk and gain levels the easy way.

don’t bother rolling them back or punishing those that abused it at all, they’ll get bored soon enough and leave. this is part of the spirit of classic, people were exploiting back in the day and blizz didn’t give a damn back then either.
Good morning, hope you all enjoyed your long weekend.
What news of the roll backs and suspensions for abusing this bug?

Well, now that most streamers have reaped the benefits of it.

its not like it was hidden, there is literal video evidence everywhere, but blizz wont implement that on all of the streamers #streamerprivilege

“ignore the problem and the long term consequences and it will go away on its own” is blizzard’s official response aka silence aka they don’t care
or maybe they do care, and they’re trying to figure out how to fix this, is it sad that it’s more believable they don’t care about their customers and wouldn’t “waste their time” fixing things? miracles happen though

I personally against it as a casual for obvious reason. Please dont dear blizzard.
They were not better lol… you could do about 45k an hour with a well practiced team.
The perfect team was 2 locks 2 mages 1 tank 2 healers = 7. This is where there was the absolute least amount of penalty.
Every one rushing to level 60 knew exactly what they were doing, and that it was probably a bug. Abusing a bug is considered an exploit in the software world. I am pretty sure there is InGame documentation that says something along the lines of ‘creating a raid will prevent the completion of quests & and have an experience penalty.’
During Vanilla WoW it was possible to Raid All dungeons except for Dire Maul. During the early days of WoW in the Pre-nerfed Scholo it was not uncommon to take 20 people because the trash was dense in that zone. You had to have 40 people run through BRD to get to MC. The difference between then and Now. There Was a HUGE exp penalty on anything over 5man groups. Not only was the Full party Bonus gone but you also got a Raid penalty for experience.
During Vanilla WoW We raided these dungeons not for exp but because we were bad and dungeons were really hard with the original talent trees. It is also a fun to bring all of your friends to an instance and clear it in 45 mins instead of 2 hours.

So are you really just gonna sweep this under the rug and pretend like it didn’t happy?

I find it amusing how they didn’t “fix” this until streamers started crying about it, and only after said streamers had abused it as much as they felt like doing.

This is what happens when you don’t beta test past lvl40…

how high were you when your wrote this nonsense? LOL
I’m assuming this has something to do with the 10 man dungeon groups?
Are they keeping the rewards gained by exploiting a bug? (need to know for future reference, also just asking for a friend) xD

Well, they will probably make MC harder for the rest of us by the time we get there too, since I have heard many claims that is was way under-tuned and the gear-checks were virtually non existent. Undertuned MC + Extra dungeon EXP = 1st week kill, but in reality it wouldn’t have happened without those factors.

Would be nice for blizzard to address why they left this bug in after it was reported in beta until right after streamers, rushing guilds and probably the devs reached 60 using it.

Interesting how it was fixed after the streamers and some big guilds got to 60 first.
Roll them back for exploiting.
