Its alright I don’t mind stubborn lowbies to join us. More noobs to kill !
Players: We’re too lazy to reroll please give free transfers.
Blizzard: Opens free transfers.
Players:
you dont think you can transfer more than 1 char?
Character named Holycow, but not a Priest or Paladin in Classic. Fake news.
Launch week:
“I want to play with my friends”
“I hate these queues”
Blizz releases new servers:
“I want to play with my friends”
“I hate these queues”
Blizz allows free transfers:
“I want to play with my friends”
“I hate these queues”
hahaha i’m glad someone else sees the fallacy
Should’ve planned better. Not Blizzard’s fault.
Yeah, that does suck that you guys are split up, but they are not trying to solve that problem. They are giving you the option to move due to queue times. Unfortunately, it’s the players’ responsibility to coordinate what servers everyone will play on.
Can we not have Thalanos and Incidious going to Netherwind. Why not open a new realm for them as well or move them to one of the other new realms that are openning. Putting 2 realms with such high queues onto Netherwind will ruin Neth. Please reconsider.
Remember, Blizz was super adamant about not having dead realms so they must know more than the general WoW population about server longevity if they are initiating transfers to new realms rather than ones that are already populated.
I moved to one of the new realms that people said would be dead and flamed Blizz for, but it is now full (not unhealthily full like Fearlina or Herod). If a player doesn’t want to sit in a queue and they messed up and didn’t roll with their friends then they should just use the resources Blizz is providing.
I love the people saying that it’s Blizzard’s fault that their friends all transferred to different servers, and they need the option to all transfer to the same server.
If you and your friends were in constant communication leading up to, and during the first day or two of launch, then you wouldn’t have this problem. It is known that this is what you need to do, in order to organize a group for an MMO launch like this. It isn’t Blizzard’s fault for your lack of organization. Clearly you and your friends don’t care about each other that much, or lack basic adult organizational / leadership skills, if you’re not patient enough to wait out the storm and find a good place to roll together.
My friends and I were on discord during launch night. We had a plan to go on Incendius, but during launch, and all of its craziness, plans changed. Incendius had crazy queues, so we waited it out, and ended up rolling together on Kirtonos because we didn’t want queues. It just took a couple hours of patience and communication, and it’s well worth it since we’re planning to play together for the next couple years. Can’t blame Blizzard for everything, when other people in the same situation can execute plans properly.
Please reconsider or limit the transfers to Netherwind based on level. Level 60s from two other original realms will wreck the community and economy on the newer server.
Doesn’t have to be a full server. They could have had the full servers spread out and transfer to servers with medium populations in the same time zones bringing them up to Med/High but still giving them an opportunity to move to a server where maybe their friends rerolled on to get away from a queue.
A full server to a brand new server is not the best way to reunite friends who got split up to queue dodge. Those people who went on other servers to avoid queues are still going to play on those servers while the people on the full servers don’t have an option to reconnect with them without one of them starting a new character. So some will not care but a lot of concern was that groups got split up and now they can’t join each other with the characters they’ve been playing the past week.
That group of friends already made the decision that they were going to play on a different server. Whether the reason is queue times or not, if they all really wanted to play together, they would have stuck together and made a compromise. So tired of people placing blame on something that is their own fault.
So far everything specifies “character” and not “characters” but I sure hope I am wrong.
I made a post in WoW Classic General Discussion - New Realm - Heartseeker, to see if we could get some sort of show of hands to verify how many people are going to explore this option
thats from the 2nd line in original post, its plural… - i do see later in the post “character” is singular, clarification would be nice as i’ll stop levelling my alt if only able to bring 1x character off the realm
No, you cannot choose where you’re going because all of the current realms are medium to high pop with the exception of one realm which is low.
You are NOT going to be able to choose a high pop realm with very small queue time, if any at all, and then make it unbearable to persons there from the day it was created to log in, just because. We are good over here.
And if you don’t want to go on a fresh server because “it will be dead” smh. If everyone who said that actually transferred, you realise it won’t be dead right?
This is the same issue you guys were saying that realms will be dead so you are going to wait out the queue on Herod, whitemane and faerlina, yet 99% of the realms that released after those are high pop. Do you not see a trend.
It might be a new server but it won’t be “fresh” one since all of you will be transferring from older servers. There is literally nowhere else for you guys to go! You CANNOT go on any other servers without causing overpopulation as well! It’s already over a week after launch.
There must be some attrition by now, and if you are still getting queues it means that it is still overpopulated.
yeah i dont know about this idea. and no one going to start fresh on a ‘fresh’ server with a few random 30’s on it at launch
Cool, so all of my friends who are on Herod, Kirtonos (sp?), and Incendius will still not be able to play together…
Why not give everyone a chance to re-align with friends? Most of us don’t have the time to reroll a fresh char and spend 30+ hours playing catch up.
