Not everyone on Gob wanted to roll on a west coast server, they literally had no choice at and prior to launch.
Trying to force those people to stay just looks really bad on your part.

They can always loosen the transfer restrictions later if that happens.
shouldn’t have chosen to stick it out on a server with 20k queues like they told you to do before launch.
First come. First serve. Nothing fancy.
do we know realm type and zone? or are they same as where we switching off of
Sulfuras continues to be the best realm. It has the perfect population size of high pop that gets full during peak hours with only a queue of 1-3k. It also has evidence of having a near 50/50 faction split. Completely avoided this mess with ridiculous queues and server transfer drama.
I appreciate what you all are trying to do, but I think Incendius and Thalnos should also be transferring to a new realm. Netherwind seems just about right at the moment, and I am sure many of us re-rolled on Netherwind after ventures on high population servers. I hope you will reconsider.

Screw that, im on a healthy server right now with a 10 minute queue. My friends and I rerolled from a crowded server as soon as it was evident that queue times were horrendous. We don’t want your trash turining our nicely balanced sever into the garbage heap you just came from.

Raiding guilds who cannot get their raid team logged in together will most definitely consider a realm transfer.
These new realms are going to go Medium to High overnight. You can bet Blizzard is having a real “Oh Crap!” moment about now. They never expected this much of a success… and thought for sure it would have slowed down after the first week. This is a good thing to be wrong about.
Talk with your guild leader and friends… this is an excellent opportunity for you all to play together an not stuck in a queue,
Low view streamers have rerolled, or not bothered to roll there in the first place.

Arcanite Reaper is one of the coolest realm names I’ve ever seen. I would xfer just for the name alone.

I hope that non rpers transfer off. Something you need to consider is that rppvpers are more likely to not be tourists, so come phase 2, that 30 minute queue will be multiplied when the layers collapse.
The issue I can clearly see is faction wise. Since you can only have one faction on each, many used one for horde, one for alliance, and will not be able to transfer as a result. That said its only a minor issue.
Lol I love this. How disjointed and fragmented are the hallowed communities that we all here so much about that they can’t read the forum communication and just make a decision:
“Hey guys I know we picked Herod for character creation but blizzard is saying they guarantee it’s going to have severe queues for an unknown amount of time, so we’re going to try and roll Herod for launch but stay flexible and we may settle somewhere else, blizzard is saying they are going to open realms throughout the week.”
“LEETGAMERS guild is committed to long term success and we know that launch won’t define our guild, if you want to commit to the long haul we’re going to put our main raiding characters on XYZ server that has never had a queue. We all lost game time to other servers in the launch madness, but now it’s time to grind some levels together and get some gear.”
Those two statements from a GM would have solved roughly 99% of the problems people are complaining about.

Thanks for doing something but I will not be opting to leave Incendius. Only way I would consider is A: if my wife and I could leave and go to an east coast PvE server since she isnt a fan of the PvP and B: I can trasnfer all 3 of my characters I have invested time and money into profs
Wow Blizzard … STOP catering to these kids who complain on the forums for not getting their way! This is EXACTLY how retail came to be! YOU told us to move and get off these full servers but too be fair I didn’t need you to tell me that, all the evidence was there. The problem is the ones who didn’t suck it up and move and still stayed, this also is a MASSIVE slap in the face to all of us who did what you ask and what is your reward to us? Giving the kids their free transfers instead of holding your ground? Even worse some of these servers you are sending them to aren’t fresh and that will just ruin the experience of the players who DID what you ask by sending higher levels to their server… AND now the kids are crying about “let us transfer anywhere!” and ill bet if you give it enough time and you will! All because they won’t move, they will sit and queues and complain on the forums until you do. Just so you know I will never do anything to assist you again after such blatant disrespect. The only thing I am thankful for is you didn’t put my server up on the to be wrecked list. My heart goes out to all of you on Felstriker, Netherwind, Anathema, windseeker, Deviate delight. I can only assume they picked you because of being the lowest population and I am sorry that you did what you were supposed to do and rerolled slowing your leveling and they are just gonna send those who refused to listen to your servers to ruin your server first.

Why is it going to be only considered a “fresh” server? If 60s are able to transfer there, wouldn’t that mean level 2-59 players will also be transferring there, and therefore it’s not just a bunch of 60s killing people that are 20-40s?
Thanks for allowing transfers. I’ll finally be able to join my wife and her boyfriend on Deviate Delight!
