Blizzard also knows that the people whining the loudest about a sub fee will also use modern wow.
If only to see if any old freinds are online and to try and get them to move over to classic but they will use modern wow

I do⊠it costs money to make and keep running. If you wonât be part of that then I would prefer you go leach off something else and make room for more paying customers. No free wow not even bernie is calling for that.

Save your WoW sub fees and you will get that horse sooner than later. The horse sub fee will be a whole heck of a lot more than a WoW sub fee though.

There are many people here saying that Classic should âjust be for themâ and that they want nothing to do with Retail, when it should be World of Warcraft - which flavor you spend your time with.
The business model is that you pay for access to World of Warcraft, and then you spend all your time playing the game you want. Anything more is to add a great deal more headache and unnecessary divisiveness.
No amusement park will tell you where you will spend your time. If you go to Disneyland, they arenât going to care if you spend all your time in Tomorrowland or the New Orleans section, or the Star Wars section.
Classic players demanding a paywall or a separate sub have completely lost the plot - itâs contrary to Blizzardâs business plans, and what made WoW great in the first place.
You have to take the good with the bad here, or else you lose the inclusive nature of WoW. That community didnât just spring up out of nowhere, people from all walks of life, with all kinds of opinions came together. The Classic community needs to remember that when they start talking âletâs get our own sub, with our own box cost!â
Your mentality is âif we give Blizzard more money, maybe theyâll think weâre worth more time and effort!â And that, frankly, spits in the face of everything Blizzardâs ever done.

Yes! exactly. This is an entirely immersive experience. Nice analogy, You dont like the tea cup and want to ride the rollercoaster all day, you do you. Its still the same ticket price at the gate.

I think you can get it for $11.99 a monthâŠthats cheaper than 1 -3d movie ticket a month even if you go by yourself.

Also, if youâre too cheap to pay $15/month for Classic, thatâs on you. The rest of us will pay it and have fun playing it while you sit in your corner and sulk.

Iâm fine with people thinking there should be a lower sub just for Classic, and with your Retail sub you get Classic included, but 15 dollars is not to much for a game that is going to give you a ton of game time for 15 measly dollars. If you canât afford a sub then I donât want to play with you.

I didnât listen word for word to their quarterly report. I actually am wondering if I should I for a better Idea of their business plan.
I do know that 10 x 16 = 160. And 20 x 8 = 160.
So they COULD offer a lower price if a double the people subbed.
Or does the cost of wow get exponentially more expensive the more people join?

Iâd rather pay sub for a game with regular maintenance than a game I donât sub for with no maintenance, crashing servers(down for hours). Itâs a price we pay for playing a âMMOâ using equipment we donât own.
Will those who bought Classic back in 2005 have to buy it again?
