WoW Classic Closed Beta - Level 40 and Arathi Basin Testing

Later today, we will take the WoW Classic closed beta down for maintenance and we will increase the level cap from 30 to 40. This will allow testers to level up in zones such as Stranglethorn Vale, Desolace, and Arathi Highlands (among others).

Out of curiosity, do you perform (or plan on) any resets on quests etc
From what I’ve been seeing in the beta, quite a lot of people have been pushing themselves to do quests that are outside their standard level range ie doing “red” quests.

Are these people potentially going to have to grind out the first few levels (or search for quests they didn’t get around to) so that they can start picking up appropriate quests?

To further assist testing efforts, we will reduce the cost to respec closed beta characters. The new cost will be charged in silver instead of gold, a 99% reduction in cost, and will only be applied to the beta test.

Reducing the respec costs for the beta only allows people to test specs and talents they might otherwise avoid because of the prohibitive cost and the decay, measured in months, does nothing to alleviate.

I’ve had the beta since day one and I’ve seen all of zero streamers in any of my play sessions. I saw TipsOut ask for a mage in general chat once. These forums are just a salt factory now.

Anyone can stream even my pc can withstand streaming and playing WoW. I even attempted it for a while but working in IT I keep busy with other things. There are hundreds of people playing beta, streamers are just noticed…cause they are streaming it… out of what 10-15 streamers that can say they can play beta out of the hundreds playing these number don’t seem to add up. I doubt there are 200+ people streaming this game.
