CS has nothing to do with beta invites. The best they can do is report your feedback to the devs.

True, I am assuming that because they didn’t specifically say that hunters would have pets.
But I am basing that assumption on the fact that these guys have been around the block a few times in 15 years. Any premade character I’ve ever used in a beta (and I’ve been a part of 5 of them) came with a pet.
But who knows… maybe they expect hunters to tame the Frostwolves in AV. Either way… muh hunter peeps gonna be just fine.

Yeah beta hype vanished i even said this was a ploy for streamers to market the pvp to viewers… that post got deleted. I wouldnt invest any time in streamers this weekend guys… get out and enjoy your last months in the world… before august.
Personally I think this strategy will backfire. People aren’t going to sit and farm 1.12 AV for 2 days straight. They’ll play a game or two then log off for the rest of the weekend.
Beta testers; I implore you to give as much CONSTRUCTIVE feedback on AV as you can. Maybe we can convince them to give us a hybrid version that’s more interesting and fun than 1.12 but not as imbalanced as 1.5.
It is very likely that the ones that WOULD run AV repeatedly (especially the early version) are not subbed to the game, and therefor have no beta access to run it.

Will the opening of the Field of Strife realm coincide with the closing of the beta realms, or will those go down 2-3 hours early as with the stress tests?

It depends on the person. Many of us in the beta take our task seriously, I’ll be in there as often as my time allows, and honestly I’m really looking forward to it!
Personally, I think that ship has sailed and we are getting 1.12 AV no matter what. I’d like to see it as it was originally implemented because it was the most fun I’ve ever had in World of Warcraft PvP, I just don’t think it’s going to ever happen.
I agree, though I’d like to see it mostly because it’d be something very different from what we currently have on live.

People claim that 1.12 AV is entirely different from the live version. Those people are being grossly disingenuous.

Agreed. My current plan is to try it out with 4 different classes (2 on each faction) using multiple specs. That alone would get me 8-10 games.
