They mentioned you can transfer to the PVE one only:

It says in what you quoted when you die you can transfer to “a normal realm”. That wording leads me to believe you could transfer into either the pvp or pve realm. There’s only two other realms besides hardcore and the use of “a” implies more than one and “normal” may simply mean any non-hardcore realm in this context.

I don’t think anybody would really want a “SOD TBC”

The whole point of SOD was to have better class design in classic(as in not only being good at 1 thing) and updated raids + other content.

To support group play, we’re introducing a Looking for Group (LFG) tool, which will allow players to create, join, and browse parties manually. We’re also adding a Services chat channel that players can enable, specifically for advertising services such as portals, summons, and tribute buffs. All such advertising must be posted to the Services channel, and player chat of these kinds placed elsewhere are subject to player reports and actions taken by Blizzard.

For those who enjoy the look and feel of the Classic guild UI, we’ve implemented an option for players to choose between using the original Classic guild UI and the newer guild UI. We’re also making plans to bring these updates to all Classic Era realms and appreciate your thoughts and feedback on that.

Concerning Era:

Yes, the old guild UI is preferable. If you’re going to introduce LFG and trade tools then please clean up the bots and gold selling advertising. There is a 24/7 constant stream of bots advertising gold selling sites in the LookingForGroup channel and it’s kind of absurd that they don’t get banned in minutes.

It’s a season… it was never going to progress. As far as I know they’ve never even actually answered for sure what happens to the characters at the end of it.

#NoChanges and #Changes Philosophy at Launch

With WoW Classic Anniversary realms, our goal is to preserve the spirit of what makes Classic WoW special. While we’re not strictly following a “no changes” policy for these Anniversary realms, our intention is to closely mirror the Classic Vanilla experience, with minimal deviation from the 2019 version.

Since the launch of WoW Classic in 2019, changes have occurred for reasons primarily focused on game health and game cohesion. These changes have included: reporting system improvements, the Dethroning system for transferring guild leadership, the addition of Chronoboon Displacer (and allowing it to stack to 10), the improved PvP Honor Ranking system, and graphics improvements. On the new Anniversary realms, these changes will be in from the start.

As always, we will continue to listen to player feedback and make adjustments as necessary.

The vast majority of people who were actually asking for a classic fresh for years are no longer interested because of the GDKP ban. When this fresh underperforms expectations, you will all scapegoat it as “people just aren’t interested in classic anymore” instead of reflecting on your terrible changes.

I’m concerned this will leak into Era. Please don’t.

And I’ll also reiterate what others are saying. We can see right through the tauren . This is a pathetic attempt to pretend you’re doing something about RMT and botting without actually doing anything at all. If you care about the health of your game please actually do something about botting and RMT and allow GDKP to function as it should without being tainted by RMT. You can start by growing a pair and perma-banning gold buyers.

You mean classic 2019 where half the realms died by the end and were unplayable at non peak hours? You’re vastly overestimating how many people actually play this game we’ve seen time and time again that most realms die and only the top few actually remain populated. While you might be fine playing on an underpopulated realm after a few months forcing everyone else to gamble on the right realm in the form of their time and investment in to their characters is just a recipe for getting people to quit.
