Exactly correct!!! There is absolutely no reason to not give us choice. You can’t force people to play a game they don’t want to play. TBC Era would keep me subbed indefinitely, and I’m not going to play something I don’t like just because it’s the only version of the game available.
All the arguments against choice are completely misguided. There is no downside to having choice as long as it’s implemented properly.

Yeah most of us HC players had wanted some sort of change to have a reason to swap over, such as SSF only until 60, or actually progression to TBC etc etc

Can we transfer from the fresh hardcore realm to the fresh PVP realm? (Since we can transfer from hardcore to whitemane currently)

We can transfer from hardcore to Whitemane(PvP). For the last year. Why are we changing that now? This makes hardcore a lot less enticing for many people.

yeah fresh HC makes no sense to me honestly. it’s literally just there so some streamers can get a fresh start I guess 
No because hardcore servers are normal servers and when WoW launched they set the servers up so that you could transfer only from normal to normal and pvp to pvp. While also restricting opposing factions on the same pvp server (so if you had a horde char you could not make an alliance char on that pvp server)
coincidentally, classic fresh is matching the only fangs new fresh start too…
classic fresh makes sense for a whole host of non-streamer reasons though

Would need to have a large “NO APPEALS FOR ANY REASON” notification posted when you die.
People already get funky about disconnects in PVE HC, the tears of “I got unfairly killed! Restore me!” would be hilarious.
That being said I tip my hat to anyone not playing a rogue who gets to 60 on a PVP HC realm, if they release those.

I don’t see anything about changes to the honor system or addressing the afk/non participation issue. Does this mean the best way to get gear in the fresh server will still be to zone into a battle ground and hit space bar every 4 minutes while never actually playing the game?
What I’m absolutely excited for, so much so that I have the warm fuzzies covering me like a blanket, is for the 35th Anniversary in 2029 and the inevitable announcement of a new server called: Classic Classic Classic. And just like the other servers it will progress to TBC and beyond! Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus! The skeptic in me suspects that the reason that BE Pallies and Draenei Shammies will be unavailable at the start on Nov. 21 when the new Classic Classic server opens is because when TBC rolls around in a year aficionados of TBC will choose the option to pay to have class and race changes rather than reroll a character and start at level 1; although, other players will contentedly reroll a new toon at level 1. Now I’m just spit balling here, but I suspect that there’s no money to be made to have Horde Pallies and Alliance Shammies at the start of the new Classic Classic server.
