WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Realms Information -- Updated Nov. 18

GDKP environments still raid together and have fun? The literal only change is the loot system being more rewarding for all members, which makes recruiting or backfilling no-shows easier?

You are removing the element of loot-drama by rewarding everyone regardless of drops? Taking out the risk of LC corruption or rolling luck? The vast majority of GDKP communities are the same core group of players, who return week in and week out, who come together and have fun? The vast majority also aren’t swiping, they instead level alts to run more GDKP’s to earn more gold?

They need region lock the servers and make them ANTI VPN while also linking each account to a specific IP address so when someone does RMT they get perma banned to that IP address.

We get it you want to profit off gold/tokens stop trying to ban GDKPS

If there hasn’t been a change made to the Buff / Debuff limit (32 and 16 respectfully) I highly suggest making this change. It would be a great quality of life change to people and allow a bit more diversity in classes/specs. It would also allow the more try hard people to not need to worry about pushing off buffs.

If this is already currently planned or is already available, please ignore this :). I just haven’t read anything about this yet.

They arent “trying” they ARE banning GDKPs

era doesnt have Tokens on it!!! So this makes zero sense.

So let me ask one more question.

What happens if you take the gold out of the equation?

You go back to the orginal format that GDKPs are based off of DKP loot system.

so to clarify, we are getting prog servers and not permanent servers?

all this guy does is fight with you and report you please get him off the forums… and no moist not if its legitmate i cant even comment onhere w.o harrasment and a reply with you within 30 seconds. thats a legal definition of harrassment. and blizzard wont let me block you

So you suggest something like DKP as the closest solution? Again, recruiting and filling a guild-raid is far more difficult than filling a GDKP. A pug has zero incentive to show up. If you have missing members that week, goodluck finding replacements.

Additionally, DKP is then tied to that individual guild. If the guild dies, or you decide to go elsewhere, you are now starting from square 1 on the DKP system, or you subject yourself to LC/SR.

Gold is transferrable. It does not go anywhere. You can join a new guild. You can join a new GDKP. You can skip a raid, or 10, and still come back and have that gold available.

Last-minute no shows can be pugged from trade chat in minutes.

While I appreciate the 3 weeks delayed T1 start, I feel like that is too short for the average, or even slightly faster than average leveler, if we are using the classic leveling system. 5 weeks would be a better option.

Engaging in a candid discussion on a forum does not equate to harassment. Merely holding different views and expressing opposition in a forum setting is not harassment. However, harassment does involve demeaning others and inciting reports against individuals for their differing views. Therefore, if there is any harassment occurring, it is certainly not from my actions.

Can’t you put him on ignore? I can … seems Blizz is harassing you.

lol Woot. Good Job!! Blizz on prohibiting GDKP’s.

I just saw someone mention this in retail chat and had to check it out personally.

Very nice. Very smart. Keep up the good work!
