Hi. I noticed immediately upon logging in that certain items on my screen will leave artifacts of themselves in a fixed position as kind of ghost images for a while on the screen – for example, the logs on the beach in this image have a ghosted version of themselves: https:// imgur. com/a/j3QkIXU
The artifacts disappear randomly and are replaced by other artifacts.
I’m playing on an M3 Max MacBook Pro and I’ve tried disabling all add-ons to no avail.
Thanks for looking into this.

I am having the same issue. I even ran the scan and repair tool. I also found out that if I lowered just the shadow setting to the lowest it would go away, but anything greater than that it comes right back.

I have the same issue on an Intel (i9) MacBook Pro running Monterey. I do not have it on a newer MacBook Pro running Sequoia. The newer Apple silicon machine runs at much higher graphics settings, but I tried fiddling a bit with the Intel machine and couldn’t get a fix.
On the plus side, at least initially, the Bluetooth mouse zoom / scroll problem might (fingers crossed) be fixed.

Well, another data point. My M4 Max arrived today and I went ahead and did a fresh install and I am not seeing the weird ghosting artifacts anymore.
Maybe already fixed? I recommend a fresh install of Classic and restore your WTF settings.
As I said earlier, the newer machines / OS don’t show this issue. I don’t know what the older machines / OS and settings are causing the issue, but the latest and greatest don’t seem to have the problem.
I didn’t see any problems with my M1 Studio this evening playing on the Anniversary server.
This issue appears to be fixed by the patch this morning, January 29th. Anyone still see a problem?
