I have a question with classic wow, the only new thing is the graphic improvement but the history is the same. So, it’s like deleted your character and begin from 0. And after, I dont know if we have to buy the expansions too. My point is, if all is the same, the game will arrive in some point that the normal wow + the classic wow will fusion in one. Or all that you did in this moment, like gold, going to loose when the majority go to the classic wow?
Thanks.
Tis early days my friend, we shall find out.
What happens in classic wow, stays in classic wow.

you can play classic or modern wow under the same 15 sub fee, you will be able to play both if you like and buy game time in from retail gold to play classic, you lose nothing, I am guessing a huge percentage will play both modern and classic.
Classic is essentially a separate game that uses the same subscription service as the regular version of WoW. Nothing you do in the regular version carries over to classic and vice versa.
Classic WoW is actually the Alternate Universe Azeroth

You’re asking about something which is related to another thing which isn’t even out yet.
There’s been zero news regarding Blizz remaking anything passed Vanilla wow.
Also, you’re on General Discussion.

Although you’ll get the same answer. You know just as much as anyone else regarding the answer to your question, which is nada.

You can just make an alt in classic and play both versions at once.
My guess is that classic will get quite a bit of play for 3 months and then peeps will log into both about the same amount.
Other than do a few odd things you can’t do now, I think most players will find it more tedious and not stay in classic long.
Don’t worry Blizzard will cleverly resolve the two stories by inventing yet another timeline on which Classic is taking place. We’ll fight 2 or 3 more Illidans and Gul’dans probably
