It is annoying that the Blood Elves never even find out why the Night Elves were spying on them or what the Night Elves were even trying to find out. And then the Night Elves aren’t even mentioned in Chronicle for that section of the Blood Elf story. AND on top of that Robert Brooks and Blizzard forgot that the Night Elves had been there at all when publishing A Good War.
Yeah, at this point I’d be willing to accept “uh, Fandral ordered it” by way of explanation. Just… anything.
We watch a lot of Lynx News.
I speculate that it was a follow up on this quest from Classic:
- Foolish blood elves toil with demonic magic. Have they not witnessed what happened with the naga and with the satyrs of Kalimdor?
I fear that the blood elves will meet a similar deformation. Azeroth cannot afford to give birth to another vile race of monsters.
I wish to study the brain stems of the satyr and naga so that I might deduce what fate the elves are headed toward. In Blackfathom Deeps, on the coast of Ashenvale, you will find both satyr and naga.
'Tis a long journey, <name>.
Once I have enough samples to study, my true work can begin. With the corrupted brain stems of both the satyr and naga of Blackfathom Deeps I can try to draw a correlation between the mutations.
Perhaps with that gained knowledge we can prevent the blood elves from delving deeper into deformity and evil.
But this is only speculation, since there’s nothing official.
It really didn’t need rocket science to figure out. The Sentinels would only be operating under the orders of Tyrande, which pretty much calls it as an operation sanctioned at the highest levels of the Alliance.
As to what they knew, again it was obvious, they knew where the magical power centers of the Ghostlands were and were actively sabotaging them.
There actions merited an approriate response which should have been Lor’themar sending the dwarf’s head back. maybe with a few Sentinel heads back as a gift for Tyrande.
The Night Elves were never determined to have been sabotaging them. The Blood Elves were overloading the sanctums themselves.
Blood Elves never even wondered or figured out what the Night Elves’ end goal was.
He was the Human Prince of the Alliance of Lordaeron, his crimes are the Alliance’s crimes. Stormwind claims that it carries on the mantle of the old Alliance with the new one. So they inherit Lordaeron’s book of sins as well.
Then those were crimes committed against mostly the Alliance races because the actual Horde as led by Thrall evaded his wrath.
He was under the orders of Ner’zhul, founder of the Orcish Horde, yet here the Blood Elves are, allied with the Orcs - who had already marched on Quel’Thalas even before Arthas did.
Good times. Would repeat.
The Hordes capital city is even named after gasp Orgrim Doomhammer!
Saurfang did. Saurfang was Doomhammer’s liutenant in command of the rearguard when the Horde marched on Quel’Thalas. And here was Saurfang leading the Horde to march on Elves yet again in the War of the Thorns.
I think Frank was referring to the Blood Elf part. Different Elves, different continent too.
Why on earth do you spend so much time debating with obvious trolls (or, more accurately, one troll plus his alts)?
Like you?
Lmao
This is what your brain looks like in denial when you see multiple free minds who don’t repeat the same correct speak echo chamber things as you do. It’s tough to absorb. There will only continue to be more who see the truth and join the movement of free minds.
Blood elves were always evil they have secretly manipulated the horde via their puppet warchief sylvanas into a situation to destory the horde.
That was a joke.
I don’t have a lot going on.
We are both the protagonists and the antagonists of the entire Warcraft universe.
A heavy burden, to be sure… But one that none other but us Male Human Paladins are able to gracefully bare.
Fandral had no authority over the Sentinels. Only Tyrande could have ordered them there.
