Some of them are the people that are super salty that Classic got announced at all. And are now more salty that its playerbase is enjoying the game and hate when Blizz give it any attention.

Except it’s not exactly the same, because it debuted under patch 1.12 rules/balance (classic) instead of patch 1.6 (vanilla) like it originally did.

You know what it reminds me of, those angry little kids who cannot stand it when someone else is getting attention.
Like when one kids is off making a fort out of cardboard and everyone is like “Oh look! Bobby made a fort from boxes, isn’t that neat.” And the angry little kid runs over and kicks down Bobby’s fort and say “It is nothing but a bunch of cardboard!”
That angry little kids is who these people who say it is 15 year old content remind of.

Sure, but it wasn’t world first by then. Different.

But it is. What defines world first is that you can’t overgear the content before clearing it. People clearing it in 1.12 had the option of doing it with ZG or even Naxx gear. People clearing it in 1.6 didn’t.
Although I suppose there might have been fewer sour grape pickers on the forums back then too

World first is the first one to clear the content when it was released. That all happened 15 years ago. The gear that was used is irrelevant.
