The title is as it states. WOW is at its end. Blizzard has to either get serious on making the game better rather making it worse. Many PVP players say that they dont like the way PVP works yet Blizzard keeps on the same thing. WOW Classic is way better in PVP cause all you need to do is to do BGs and you get your PVP gear no matter. In WOW BFA and in WOW Shadowlands this is not the case. You will do BGs but you wont get a gear or the gear is too poor compared to the PVE gear that is easier to get from Dungeons and Raids. In WOW Classic you get an epic gear and you have no item levels thats it. You get it you ready to PVP in the world. In WOW BFA and Shadowlands this is not the case. Having said that
WOW Classic is dominating over retail WOW that is collapsing at the end WOW CLassic will survive it cause it did with vanilla and it does now. Proof here
MYZERIA in BFA and Shadowlands empty streets no one plays wow BFA and Shadowlands while WOW CLassic is at its best the server is full and lags while blizzard does not support wow classic to fix its bugs people still play it. What you have to say now Blizzard ?

in those 2 pictures you can clear see who dominates wow. Its wow classic ofc.
I wonder when Blizzard will learn. All people want is an improved wow classic add things like LFR for raids and an LFD for dungeons in wow classic i expect this to happen when Burning Crusade comes out in wow classic. But this is what people want they dont want complex games like BFA and Shadowlands and ofc people love PVP that is the main reason most people gear up. The hordies gear up in Raids and then they hit the BG button to PVP its all about killing Hordies this is how wow started why should we change now ? thanks. I hope you like the pictures.
Classic has like, what, 40 servers?
Retail has over 200.
Classic WoW has layering (ie: sharding) on like 9 realms.
Retail has sharding active on all realms.
Classic WoW consists of 2 continents.
Retail consists of 9, with a 10th worth of zones added to the original 2.
All of these together go a great deal toward explaining why Classic feels “fuller”. The population is more dense because there are like 1/5 the # of servers to shove people into. The population is more dense because most realms don’t have sharding/layering splitting people up (only a few very high pop realms do – or did, not sure if they still do as I last heard about it in April). The population is more dense because everyone is shoved into 2 continents, not 9-10. (Technically 11. but I’m not going to pretend BfA’s 2 continents aren’t just 1 continent split up)
I’m not saying Classic is super unhealthy or that Retail is amazingly healthy. But trying to judge how they’re doing compared to each other based on a visual look at how dense the population is… is totally useless because of the differences between the games and how they’re being handled. And since Blizzard totally broke the couple different methods players could use to get a rough gauge of the population, there’s nothing else to really look at.
Fair Right now is a bad time anyway, more people come on at night from what I’ve seen. Roleplayers have tons of fun crafting our stories and such. It’s why I’ll never be interested in Classic or anything. Put so much work into my current stories and collections, I like moving forward.
I am not a hardcore RPer, but I have ALWAYS preferred them to the hardcore gamers. I started on an RP realm and only moved off because friends and family.
I finally got my son to move over and he found a real RP event in Stormwind chapel from a Priest RPing a sermon, he was hooked
That’s awesome! I know roleplayers have a bad reputation but I’m glad some give the servers and people a chance to see things play out. Happy for your son too! And yeah that’s very fair. RP realms have a good sense of community, though there’s elitists there too and bad eggs. That’s the case with all communities though. I love when non-roleplayers dip in to watch and aren’t disruptive, it’s neat to hear interest from outside the community.
The only negative I saw, was the the Priest was really hardcore about OOC and such.
My son’s Autistic and his neurologists put him about 12 years old. He also has issue understanding other people so as much fun as the event was, we had about a 2 hour talk trying to get him to understand what others were saying.
In the end, despite the issues, it was so much fun for him and he felt accepted, that he wants to be RP servers FT.
Edi - just adding this not to complain, just to let people know sometimes there are people who cant fully understand things in game
Ah yeah people need to be very careful about OOC, some people take it way too far. IC = / = OOC should be the number one rule for sure, but many don’t see that.
And glad it worked out in the end though! That’s a lovely story. And yeah, it’s important to tell stories too, because you’re right–not all will think of that and might not understand the person behind the monitor too. Thank you for sharing.
