I mean if you look at most top players rn they all are saying keep it and make no changes at first
It’s most the players that got self played by an xpac that had very little punishment for mistakes that are crying about the pacing.
Most people with 1oz of understanding for the game knows the pacing slows down as gear goes up and people learn.
Even tonight we played for 2+ hours into many good rogues and nobody got one shot cuz there’s counterplay to the dmg.

what we have right now is literally what we’ve been spam asking for the past 4 years. and now that we have it, people are screaming and crying and refusing to adapt, it doesnt make any sense
even if they dont touch thug, its not even going to be the best comp to play by a mile with the current state of hybrids (namely spriest, ret, boomy)
Tbh I don’t even see a meta defining comp atm which is my fav part of the xpac so far.

I do think ele or boomy are tied for the best casters rn tho but there’s a lottt of insane comps and things going on rn.

im trying to figure out if something in particular is weak, but im not seeing anything in particular
(im going to wait until the bfa warlocks leave the class and people learn how to actually play warlock correctly again before i make a judgment on that class)
I think the problem with comparing these two comments is that it was good PvPers that played prior to BFA making the first statement and people that only played BFA or saw their first and only success in BFA saying the second.
I think most people that played pre-BFA are probably pretty satisfied with the pacing atm.

i qd into warlocks on beta and i know for a fact they are better than people say
they also snuck in that demon armor buff right before launch, so they are even better than they were on beta
Ye ele aff druid imo is gonna be t1 but even if stuffs t2 in the pacing slands has you can force mistakes and win games vs stuff you “shouldn’t”

I really hope blizzard won’t listen to that forum vindicative spirit for once.
1/ Games on beta were really different AND we didn’t even have upgraded conduits, so even those weren’t a true representation of the game. Would make no sense gutting classes for the entirety of an xpac after 2 weeks into shadowlands, based on random skirms.
2/ The majority of posters are just too focused on the most obvious one shots (sub/MM) while completely ignoring specs like arms,ww,moonkin,feral, sp etc. I keep repeating myself on this but the majority of high rated players Ive watched agreed that those are gonna be meta. Idk what ww/warrior or warrior/sp are supposed to lose to, we’ll see I guess

Whenever i want to see some amusements, i come to arena forums and reading posts about nerfing MM and Sub rogues, but i don’t see any other class Nerf post yet.
