WoW app crashing

It’s been a few weeks now. Every time I start it up, it crashes when it’s loading. It’s updated, my phone is updated. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it…

A few WEEKS?! how much longer were you planning on going like this?! lol

If you mean the companion app it’s going away soon

Nothing about it is obsolete. It’s easy, remote access to multiple mission tables.

With the release of The War Within™ pre-expansion content update, we will no longer support the WoW Companion App. After this date, players will not be able to update, download, or use the companion app and its features.

As of April 24th

Same here. Crashes at logging in character. It’s a pretty cool little app with auction house access.

When they came out with the bnet app they stated that both the stand alone authenticator and wow companion app were going to not be updated. Now per gravedancer that date hasn’t passed, I thought it had.

And, the best place to post this is the Technical support forum, not GD. You are more likely to get technical responses there.

I know several of us have enjoyed the app and the uses it has/had.

I liked being able to push out the mission tables ectera without having to actually go into to retail.

Gunna miss it.

My reposnse was copies from the announcment on it from the Blue post regarding it on April 24th .

Unless they have changed it since then.

I am not talking about what is happening in the future re the app itself. I was responding to the OP saying it was crashing and they were having problems with it. The forum of first choice for anything technical re the game is - Technical Support.

I presume a new one will have War within added to it. The current one has 5 expansions already on it.

The likely reason its crashing is pre patch is getting closer , which is the time frame for it to be non usable.

Thinking they are slowly shutting it down as we get closer.

They have not mentioned re doing the app for TWW.

They are doing away with the app.

Again, what you think is irrelevant in this case as you talking about something else. It is a technical issue and putting it on a forum designed for that is a more common sense approach.
