In previous years the WoW anniversary xp buff was simply mailed to all characters on an account and you click an item to opt into the rep/xp buff with the duration lasting until the end of the event. It was nice and smooth, with the last year being a 19% buff.
Currently with the WoWs 20th anniversary the default buff is 10% with the Blessing of the Bronze quest providing the other 10% which adds an extra step where in previous years the buff was simply given. The buff lasts 12 hours which isn’t bad if it applied to more than one character. As it is, if you feel like leveling multiple characters you have to do it every time. I hope this could instead be changed to be a warband wide buff.
The Blessing of the Bronze quest seems like it is designed to have players interact with the event more to fill the bar with the buff as the the incentive. I think it should instead be a weekly that rewards bronze.
