WoW Anniversary - Cannot transfer from the Nightslayer to Maladath despite being PVP

In the US, I am trying to transfer from Nightslayer (PVP) to Maladath (AU) (PVP) for the WoW Anniversary realms. Since we can only transfer between PVP servers, shouldn’t I be able to transfer to Maladath? Is this something that will be added later?

Character Transfers

On these new Anniversary realms, transfers will be unavailable (except for transfers to a Normal realm for Hardcore characters). Normal realm characters must remain on Normal realms, and PvP realm characters will be locked to PvP realms. On Hardcore realms, should players wish to transfer either dead or living characters to a Normal realm, they will be able to do so. There is no way to transfer back to Hardcore realms.

From what i can see, all transfers are unavailable except for hardcore to pve realms.

Typically there are no transfers on or off new servers, the exception of course is with HC however even it only gets to transfer to the Normal Fresh PvE server. While anything is possible, it’s not extremely likely they allow any other transfers, as this is primarily done when servers have crashed in populations and they are wanting to consolidate the players. With only 3 real servers (excluding HC which is a bit special) this situation simply wont occur, especially since the two PvP servers are for different regions.

So if you want to play on Maladath, I would re-roll now while you’re still low level instead of waiting for a transfer option which might not occur anytime in the near future.
