WoW and Now Fallout

the only 2 franchises i enjoy playing, some how managed to become the worst 2 games in 2018 LUL. I never thought I would see the day where Blizzard and Bethesda go full EA.

Nah I don’t think Blizzard has stooped to the level of EA or current Bethesda yet.

Even though that entire Diablo Immortal fiasco is seemingly now a black stain on Blizzard, in truth they just grossly miscalculated the marketing and timing of that game. Immortal isn’t a product that should be the focal point of Blizzard. It is a product that you show alongside a bigger primary game. Blizzard’s customer support is also usually much better.

Bethesda however seems have a goal to dethrone EA as the most hated company out there.

EA: God no one likes us

Blizzard: hold my phone

Bethesda: do you need a bag to put it in

They definitely have stooped down to the level of EA. Did you not see the guy’s response to the guy that asked if they were getting a PC release?

“What you don’t have phone?!”

They’ve always been at this level since Activision has been a part of them. They don’t care about the playerbase and just don’t know anything about it aside from wanting to generate a higher profit.

While BfA is a mess, there are a number of games I’d consider worst than it. There’s a reason I’m playing this MMO and not the other ones, for example.

Blizzard, while dropping the ball as of late, still has a way to go before it reaches what Bethesda is at right now. BfA isn’t facing lawsuits.

BFA has issues but it’s still a pretty decent game. No it’s not the best wow expansion but it’s still alright.

Fallout 76 is just a buggy, unpolished, steaming pile of crap.

Believe me, I did my fair share of criticizing the Diablo Immortal fiasco. I even commented on the Immortal Trailer on YouTube that someone should have thrown their phone at the guy who asked if people had phones. But I would not put them on the level of EA or the current Bethesda yet.

Fallout 76 is still pretty buggy, but keep in mind it just came out a few weeks ago. I’d give Bethesda time to fix the bugs. I will admit though, they are screwing over the players by refusing refunds as well as that crap bag they gave players.

The fact that Blizzard doesn’t listen to its playerbase and goes as far as antagonizing people in the face of legitimate criticism, AND existing for the sole purpose of making a profit than making good games puts them at the same level of EA.

Not Bugthesda though. Bethesda is in actual legal trouble.

If ya talking bout the Disaster that is Fallout 76 I am willing to give Bethesda the benefit of the doubt as this was their first time making such a game (and no ESO does not count as that was outsourced to a different company)

As for BFA I would not call it a disaster more of a mixed bag. I found some things that could use work (Like the island expeditions) and some I enjoyed (like the warfronts). ppl like to praise Legion but people tend to forget all the ppl unsubbing over the Suramar stealth mechanic.

Now if ya referring to Diablo Immortals that was a mistakes on blizz’s part but it was not creating the game that was the mistake but how they marketed it. Diablo Immortals was NEVER intended to be a direct Diablo Sequel but more of a Spinoff game like Hearthstone. However Blizzard made it APPEAR like it was when it was revealed, earning the ire of the fans. (the whole “You don’t have phones?” thing did not help) so ya if gonna be mad at Blizzard for it be mad at the people in Marketing NOT the game designers.
