I’ve been looking for a casual guild for keys or PvP for a long while now, and I had one message me this morning about doing CE raiding.
I said no thanks bc CE is not casual at all. I got a reply of “I mean it really is if you don’t suck at life”
This is what is wrong with WoW. I see more and more guilds wanting to push higher and less guilds who care about you as a person.
He was just bustin’ your onions a little.
I feel like the average casual leaning player has drifted more and more into solo content while the average treadmill bro has drifted into higher levels of raiding and keys.
False. Not with the introduction he used.
I just do pug keys or bgs with my 1-2 friends and rarely anyone else unless they ask if they can join us. People suck nowdays.
It’s rough finding a good guild for a lot of people. I’m glad they’re finally giving us cross-realm guilds with TWW and hope that can help alleviate a lot of the problems folks face in that search.
Hope you can find what you’re looking for in the meantime though.
Why not make a guild with your couple of friends? Casual guilds are just an extra chat channel anyway.
CE raiding is more casual / accessible now than it probably ever has been.
The fact that pugs can get 4+ bosses down somewhat regularly.
My guild used to be considered a casual aotc guild and even we are likely to get 5 mythic down by the time the season is over
Because I’m heavily autistic and cannot run a guild.
Doesn’t mean I give a rats butt about it.
Plus side: he immediately validated your decision to decline the invite, so there’s that.
You should check WME (Wow made easy) and Drunk N Disorderly discords, these are stress-free communities for learning and experienced players.
Keys are not a casual activity, so why would you look for a casual guild to do them?
Probably because the game currently contains about 12 hours of content outside of the 3 main pillars.
Keys are absolutely a casual activity for a lot of people.
Blame cross-realm play, which killed server communities.
Yes they are.
My guild does low keys and weekly events and hide n seek and stuff.
We don’t care about pushing anything. Our guild is like family. People are more important.
Come to ally.
Come to the dark side
You know you want to
They aren’t? What has my guild been doing all this time? lol
It’s funny that some players who do nothing but LFR and world quests but spend 40+ hours a week online in the game think they are casual but think the guy who logs on to do a couple dungeons and clear a heroic raid once a week isn’t a casual.
I’d love to find a decent guild but fudge it’s hard. Where the poop cakes are they?
Guilds are for running content and thats it. Fairly useless and unnecessary most of the time.
