Literally causing the AH to be unusable due to the high frequency of their list/unlists automating a billion auctions /sells/buys/dupes per bot per second or whatever.
The only reason AH ever goes down in blizz games is when it either can’t handle what’s being done on it, or what’s being done on it breaks the ToS.
if this is the reason, we need limit the players daily quantity they sell, and must be account wide might help i guess.
Or rather than punish honest players, just ban all AH addons
God, I love these AH threads. My personal theory: WoW AH bots were built by the same people who faked the moon landings after they silenced Stanley Kubrick once and for all.
It’s not necessarily bots, when you look at commodities you’re up against every single player in the region
Bots and addons are the go to excuse for these types of things.
Which is hilarious because these posts keep popping up. But none of them can agree which is the cause (and from what I’ve seen it’s a coding issue due to the regional ah and tww updates).
Combination of the 2. The destruction is the bots. AH was designed for millions of players- not billions of automated uses.
Auction house calls are already rate limited per account, IIRC it’s somewhere in the double digit API calls (which is the same for both base UI and Addons) per minute.

I use TSM to resell all my drops (like 30 or 40 per day) once a day but I think all the addons related to the AH should disappear. Things should be equal for everyone, that include game features working perfect for all players.
I wish I believed all the addon authors could be trusted to minimize the automated queries for AH use and that a performant system could be guaranteed.
Another clueless “bot” post. If you spend two seconds reading the forums before posting, you’d probably have better takes.
I’d rather they get rid of the addons than punish players who aren’t trying to become robber barons.
