Over. Started in Vanilla at launch (open beta).
I’m late 40’s and consider 30 middle aged now since “retirement” is pretty much extinct for anyone not retired or retiring like… right now.
Since everyone millenial and later (and even some GenX) will essentially be expected to die at work, 30’s more the half way point than 40. You can exist longer, but I wouldn’t call that “living” per se.
But yeah, WoW’s definitely gotta be an older playerbase by now, which is fine.

Kudos to you. This is such a ‘comfort food’ game for me I kind of hope it’s around for another 25+ years so I can play into my 70s.
