The world first achievements should have tracking that demands that all raiders have zero add-ons running.
This way players learn how to work without them. Programmers don’t have to adjust for them as much. And the rest of us who have a healthy relationship with add-ons can keep using them for regular stuff.
Its the Devs poor design that causes addons, not the other way around.
Someone doesn’t build a addon for the fun of it, and then blizzard designs a boss for it.
There used to be this add on for pvp that use to call out CDs in voice , cant believe that add on was not banned
There are RP and transmog add-ons. Add-ons made for fun do exist.
No way! I’m a horrible player. Do you know how much removing addons would affect my level of playing-ness would change if we removed addon’s. Eeek! I’ll never have friends again.
Everyone I meet who says they don’t need addons I have to manually count down stuff in voice for them because downloading a timer addon like bigwigs is just too much for them
Addons are for people that are in need for special needs, prove me wrong i dare you
For pvp they show you the enemy CD which shouldnt be allowed because its private (i know theres combat history) PVP addons just ruins the jump surprise you cant burst damage if they know what are you gonna do, they all can see your spells CD so, pvp on wow is just a joke
Do addons give massive advantages? if so then that is a massive detriment to the health of the game.
Players are allowed to invite or kick anyone for any reason.
What they are is the best accessibility feature any game could ask for.
