Hi there, I have not been able to use addons since Battle For Azeroth was released because no Addon button shows up in the character select screen, I have like 10 addons downloaded and they all worked in legion and they have been updated since Legion, I wanted to know what the problem is and why I can not see my addons button.
Not sure i have heard of this happening before…but have you tried clicking the red question mark button on the UI in game and clicking ad on from there? it is under the Macro button
otherwise i honestly have no clue! sorry
Obviously, I have been playing this game since burning crusade and I know about the red question mark & addons section. It’s still not showing up, can I get a MVP or a gm to help me over here please.
the most common reason for that to happen is they are layered inside an extra folder. so for example, it should look like addons/auctionator. but you have it as addons/auctionator/auctionator.
you might also make sure you didn’t make a second warcraft folder at any point and you’re adding them to the wrong folder/install. you can make sure you’re at the right one by highlighting warcraft in the battle.net app, choosing options which is above the little video, and then choosing open in explorer.
