I can see them saying “this is it” after 10.3

With how twitch drops are giving once these old and once removed TCG items

And how the trading post is going to be a thing where it needs you to be subbed/playing to get rewards

And considering how WotLK classic is bleeding itself out, cause turns out WotLK wasn’t as awesome as people claimed it was

There’s no way Blizzard is doing a Cataclysm Classic since that was how subs went downhill from there

This isn’t Blizzard’s fault, MMOs are dying in general

There’s going to be a day where blizzard will tell us “wow is going on maintenance mode” and then to “here’s the last day wow will be up”

alot of regret will be bought up, but you should enjoy what is the good of WoW as if it’s your last

Nah it’s because they removed things people liked in WOTLK. I was going to try it but when they said no LFG, I said nope. Walking to dungeons in retail is bad enough

I’m all for criticizing or something but what mental gymnastics did you have to go through to even think and believe that dragonflight would be the last expansion.

I’d love to see this as the last xpac… if only to make a whole new wow2. The game feels so old and buggy, maybe starting with a clean slate would be helpful and fresh.

Doubt it would ever happen, people would lose all their work and time from wow1. I can hope though.

To be honest, almost every1 expects a dungeon summon. Waiting 5 + mins til 2 people cave and travel there to summon the others. SO I usually just go to be 1 of the 2. Nobody likes the “travel to dungeon” part of M+, and putting it in Classic was a mistake

Look at Warcraft logs of how many people are clearing phase 1 vs burning crusade phases

Wasting peoples time making them “travel” is not the purpose. I love dungeons, I run them all day. BUT so much wasted time.

Being a ‘last expansion’ is have a few hundred players, no support, basically sunsetting it.

Not having an extra team for retail being merged in… getting even more content and a more frequent patch cadence.

Everything points to you just REAAAAAAAACHING.

I’m curious to see where else we can go. Been to space a couple times. Back in time is no biggie anymore… killed off some literal darkness monsters and various gods.

Think we’ll just keep finding ‘forgotten’ land masses? I’m voting for a large time skip forward at some point.

You realize EQ is still going, right?

The only thing that will stop WoW is when BLIZZARD decides to shut it down.

But it terms in lack of people playing to stop it? That would take 15-20 years, all things being equal.

Lol…they said the same thing with BFA and SL in here.
Bliz made some HUGE changes to the UI and added dragon riding.
Theyd never have bothered if they thought the game was going down.
