After MoP Classic?
Personally I think it would work, but I much prefer if cut content was added in, giving us more to do. Such as introducing the Ogre continent, giving the horde and alliance capital cities, etc.
But I doubt Blizzard would do that.

Wasting resources reviving terrible expansions. They were bad the 1s time, they will be worse the 2nd time.

Gladiator spec war is one of the few gems of WOD and just for that one spec I say yes plz!
They should stop MoP and put this dev time into classic plus.
The time investment will not be worth the meager returns.
Would be nice maybe one day we will get the WoD we should have gotten instead of what we got but that’s maximum copium

This is the only thing that would bring me to WoD or get me to main a warrior permanently if it ever returned to retail.
TBH WoD had some really cool stuff and had good vibes all around.
Just a lack of raids and garrisons ruining professions and capitol cities for an entire expac were the problem. Those are fixable problems, with effort.
WoD might be a good candidate for back-porting M+ too.
To be fair MoP is pretty good. Its considered the high point of the game by a lot of people i know, particularily PvPers.
But yeah i doubt WoD classic will be a thing. Its both a failed experiment and unfinished mess. Blizz themselves gave up on it midway to focus on Legion.
Making a “classic” version of something like that would be weird.
If they keep Classic going its going to jump straight to Legion. They just need to cobble a small recap cinematic to explain why Gul’dan matters for parts of Legion and why Garrosh is dead.
WoD’s lore besides that doesn’t really matter either cause lol-timetravel/alternate universe.
To me, there’s not really much question about it. We’ve already had Cata “Classic” - why wouldn’t we have WoD, Legion, BFA, etc.?
Eventually, our characters will need to end up somewhere, and converging on Retail seems about as reasonable a path as any.

No such thing as WOD Classic as it isn’t classic.
WOTLK is the last “Classic” expansion to exist.
Looking forward to “The War Within Classic”.
