Would you want to see a 10.3?

since it seems as though 10.2 will end the dragonflight story, would you want to see a 10.3 like we had in shadowlands where we did the raids with new affixes?

i think it was fun and would like to do it again, especially if they put a new mount reward to go with it, like we had the slime cat

Personally i’m basically only a month in df and doing the quest raszageth. I’ve returned from my SL quitting days. But already am done with DF.

With doing a lot of questing, df hasn’t been interesting to me. Balance druid feels weak af.

I just want df to already be over

I think it’s almost mandatory for them to do a fated style season at the minimum if the next xpac is 8-12 months out.

Crossing that 6 month window you really start to see the playerbase fall off a cliff and losing interest

Could squeeze some interactions such as the Keepers meeting Tyr or Dragonmen to Abberus. :memo::robot:

Nothing, end this expansion and move on.

Except the shadowlands raids with affixes wasn’t a 9.3 patch. It was still 9.2 with a new season.

And this is likely what is gonna happen in Dragonflight. Unless they announce a spring expansion, which would be a BIG surprise, we’re gonna have a season 4 before next expansion. Guaranteed.

idc, Im gonna be playing whether its a patch, xpac, or nothing at all. I have an endless list of things to do in this game.

No.

They’ll probably do it anyway.

We’ll probably take the season off, for the first time ever.

Mythic Fated in Shadowlands was just THAT bad.

Bet you didn’t do Mythic.

I would prefer a very long season 3 to another season 4. As someone who enjoys playing many alts, a long season is enjoyable for me. However I understand that someone who only likes playing one character might get bored.

Or a season 4 where turning on Fated was optional.

Like they should have done last time.

dont care really , 10.3 or 11.0.x , both will have a new raid so either is fine .

Fated would be a season not a patch but they are fun so if its 8 months or more between 10.2. and expansion then a fated season would be great

I only play Sul here and I dont get bored at all except if my guild stops raiding - which is very likely to happen :frowning: -no stamina these days , my guild did SoO every week for 14 months and ICC for 12 months and nobody ever considered having a break

Well, it should exist, the problem with an expansion is not just about lengthening the patch, or bringing more patch content, but about doing both.

One of the things that was successful included BfA’s previous expansions that ended in a successful x.3 even though they cut some content, it was enough for the agenda of each expansion.

Extending the expansion with only 2 long patches, that is, x.1 and x.2 is not going well, and the lesson was WoD and Shadowlands.

Now DF has a good detail of the zones, but in a disastrous lores, which will make you remember what happened with WoD, good content in a zone and some dungeons and raids, but bad lore shortened and ruined by retcons.

And now he’s suffering from the arrival of Blizzcon and the leaks, and the next expansion, and a villain who will only look cool in the next expansion, yeah… the same as Gul’dan to Legion, the same to Sire Denathrius for a future expansion, and the same as Iridrikon for the next expansion, it only saves the good villains that are needed for this expansion, and the other only stays in the world of Cringe.

something that if DF ends in 10.2, there will be no good content to save it, it will only be the shadow that happened with WoD, in fact even worse than Shadowlands after the disaster of the Aberrus raid ending.

DF will go down as one of the great expacs…I think a 10.3 is needed though.

We don’t take breaks, either, but there’s going to be very little appetite for another fated season.

(If it’s optional, great, we’ll keep farming mounts like we’ve done at the end of every expansion, just like so many other guilds.)

i do think DF at its core was good…

my main issue with DF was the re-introduction of the talent system when every class was clearly not finished…

we literally spent the entire expansion going through re-work after re-work, then nerfing classes that get re-worked to be worse than they were before the re-work.

My guild is a ghost town 2-3 weeks after getting aotc, which is our goal. But I don’t mind, gives me time to do whatever else I want, or not play at all.
