Would you still play if next expac there's a borrowed power covenant like system from the dragon aspects?

How would you feel if next expac the borrowed power system gets replaced with barrowed power from the dragon aspects. Would you still play this game?

I dont think Ill be doing that, borrowed power was pretty cool in legion but did not make any sense after.

I like the systems. Makes classes feel unique xpac to xpac.

Make it account wide.
Let me swap dragonflights anywhere, don’t make me go back to the main city.
Don’t make me do campaigns over and over again.

Let’s see just how goofy Blizzard is. We’ll know soon enough.

Probably.

I don’t mind some form of casual character progression/currency grinding outside of raiding, dungeons, etc. Within reason in terms of time requirements.

i’ll quit i done unsubbed twice during shadowlands. i totally had enough of this design. just came back and already getting tired of it again.

yes, i think i’d enjoy that. I am looking forward to it being more like Aldor-Scryer though, where there’s SERIOUS rep grinding to swap, not just a dialogue.

Yes but depends on implementation. If they pull another 9.2 on us where we are timegated for every little thing, I’ll probably unsub for an entire patch.

I don’t mind borrowed power like covenant as long as it’s easily accessible, freely able to switch our aspects without any penalty, and it should be utility spells rather than direct damage spells.

I don’t mind something that’s just for the expansion.

But covenants, in particular, had a litany of problems that everyone told them in alpha/beta to dump, but Blizzard insisted on doing them anyway.

As long as it is alt friendly, I have no problem. I want to say;

“I want to get max level on my alts” Instead of “Lvl 45 is good for now to play better with my alts”

No. I stopped at 57 in SL because of it. I’m not going to take part in anymore of these systems.

Borrowed power doesn’t bother me in the least. I’ll be enjoying it if they put it in the next expansion.

If they double down on having great vault and CC instead of letting us farm as we please I probably will head out for sure.

I haven’t played actively in months.

I started to ditch back in BFA. I got tired of trying to keep up with the Jones’ so to speak, as I may have 5 hours a week to play. My life is hectic, and I accept that. But to feel that my character’s progression will never be good enough because it will get stripped by new power mechanisms, is crushing.
I used to play to have fun, not to be on some hamster wheel.
