Would you say that WOW is more CPU...GPU...or RAM intensive?

Opinions…?

CPU. I can limit my GPU to 10% power and still get 120ps on max settings except for a couple areas with lots of particles. Then my GPU has to go up to about 40% to maintain it.

CPU intensive. My last computer up until it died from age was a I7-4790k with a Zotac 770 video card with 16 GB of RAM built in July 2014 died March 2022. My new system AMD Ryzen 9 5900X with a Gigabyte 6700XT video card with 64 GB of RAM rarely ever sees the video card used. Wanted to wait until AMD 4 released in September but needed a new system.

I tend to run a duo monitor setup with game running on one 34" and the other I’ll have forums, wow head and wow professions constantly up and wither I’ll be streaming something on that second 34" or shoot it up to my 65" screen above the duo monitors at which then my video card will spin up more often. I personally do not know if the 64 GB makes a difference for the game.

Thanks, Vralok.

depends on how bad your computer is… I’m using a Geforce Super 1650, couldn’t run the game until i doubled my ram from 8g to 16g. Was getting like 1frame per minute until i did that.

I9 9900k/ rtx 2080ti/ z390 mb/16 ram (3200)…
getting pretty dated…
time for something new.
