And why???
Druid because shapeshifting is cool, and so is instant flight form, and so is interacting with objects without being forced to dismount, and so is stealth.
I have all 12 classes, I play all 12. But if you must limit me to one, its Druid all the way for the sheer diversity in stuff I can do. Too much trash in the way, go feral and stealth past it. Extremely difficult mob in the way, go Bear and beat it down. Dancing contest, Boomkin all the way. Friends need a heal, well you’re on your own.
I play all 3 classes and usually just go with which ever is strongest at the time. At the moment resto druid is in quite a good place.
I quite enjoy playing a Paladin, but I must admit I am really liking levelling up a couple of Druids. One low level resto, one in BfA content boomkin.
If I had to choose one over the other though I think I would still choose Paladin. I am comfortable with Protection, can heal in a pinch and DPS if necessary. Plus the Paladin class mount is so shiny.
Monk. The overall feel of the specs and their class fantasy suits me well enough.
I would say Paladin the archetype is easy to get into but druid or shaman purely for playstyle
Monk, have keg, will travel
Druid son.
Druid > Paladin >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Monk
Druids are great. Leveling feral and moonkin has been a blast. Resto is fun and effective in dungeons. Bear is good for tougher enemies.
Paladin is effective but a bit dull. Monk has good aoe but not so good defensives.
That’s not an easy decision. I love Paladins in general and the lore behind monks is some of my favorite because it’s pretty much the lore and culture of Pandaria, one of my favorite expansions zones. Druids are pretty awesome, but a dwarf can’t be one. If we are talking Horde then I’d go Tauren Druid in a heartbeat. But if we were talking Alliance then I’d go dwarven paladin. A dwarf in plate armor is just so iconic and awesome. I just them. Also, my 2nd WoW character was a dwarven paladin, so I have a pretty big soft spot for them.
So yea. Dwarven Paladin. If Horde Tauren druid.
***That’s way more than I expected to say. lol
As a tank, paladin. I’ve tried monk, it was ok. I’ve tried druid (last expac and for a couple levels this expac) and so far this expac it’s boring and low damage. I’ve tried paladin, and it’s more fun for me then both those specs.
I have alts of each. I like the Druid aesthetic more than the other two. Leveling is far better with the Monk.
There is no race currently in Warcraft, Alliance or Horde that makes me want to create a paladin!
I have no attraction for druids!
And I already have a monk.
Druid.
I enjoy it more.
I’m surprised that there are so many Druid fans.
Of the three, druid.
Because if I’m going to play melee, I might as well be a kitty kat (with antlers!).
I have every class to 100, except the monk, which I am working through Outlands on at the moment.
I would have to say paladin. Their protection spec at the moment is awesome. Decent damage, nice ranged openers, unbelievable survivability.
Of course now that I have said that I see the shadow of a nerf hammer looming overhead.
Paladin for Bubblehearth and sweet mogs.
Druid for flexibility.
I wouldn’t touch a Monk with your 4 inch pole.
